Please note that the River Road is maintained for high clearance vehicles only, and 4-wheel drive may be required, especially after rains when the road can become extremely muddy and impassable. The maximum vehicle length allowed is 25 feet, and a trailer is considered a vehicle for site capacities. It is important to secure belongings to minimize the possibility of theft, and not leave the site unattended for long periods of time. Off-road driving is prohibited, and all vehicles must remain on designated roadways.
Ernst Tinaja Trailhead
The Ernst Tinaja Trailhead is a primitive roadside campsite located on Old Ore Road in Alpine, Texas, United States.
