Reviews of Martha Walker Park
"I only went here once, i had a blast"
"Beautiful park on a dead end street (no traffic) with plenty of shade, a good amount of parking, walking trails, workout equipment, picnic tables, and two updated play structures. I did not see a restroom, but that was the only downside. This park is a gem!"
"Park should not be open after dark. It’s a family park, and after dark it’s just a place for drug deals to occur. Arlington Parks & Rec. won’t respond to those living next to the park about closing before 10 pm. It should close just after dark, and or have multiple police checks after dark. Very disappointing."
"Small. About .45 around trail. Quiet. Small playground and some picnic tables and grills. About 10 parking spots"
"Used to be one of my favorite parks especially because of how nearby I live. The playground is covered by the trees so that's great for the kids in the summer. And the walking trail feels like walking through a forest. It's very peaceful and beautiful. But I always feel bad when I walk next to the house with the dogs because they bark incessantly. Which doesn't bother me but I know the owners must feel so annoyed hearing their dogs bark all day everyday. Really nice families with their dogs usually visit this place and I've talked to a few and its always very pleasant getting to know the park's regulars. However what keeps me from going back there is that I started noticing the strangest people there. They were always doing something just a bit out of the ordinary and red flags would always fly up. I started feeling very unsafe and would always end my visit quickly and head home. I stopped going there alone and then all together. Which makes me sad because it was such a small and lovely park. This was last year and maybe things are different now. But I came to the conclusion that because it's such a hidden and small park people can easily get away with doing things they shouldn't be doing. Hopefully it's not like that anymore and the community is still able to enjoy this place for a long time to come."
