"I've known Sam for almost four years now. I initially came here looking for a teacher with a good amount of experience as I am interested in the philosophy side of yoga as well as the postures. Sam has been great as I've gone through the seasons in my life. Nonjudgemental and nonaggressive with both genders, he is someone that I know lives what he has learned and is willing to share. I really like how in meditation with Sam, he instructs us to focus on God's love and mercy, whomever you may pray to is your business, while on the philosophy side is able to instruct without a bunch of magical references and flowery stuff that had turned me off to other teachers. Patanjali has listed the four requirements of a teacher in the Yoga Sutras, of which Sam fulfills all of these. Very well read and well practiced in the texts. Very real. Great choice if you come here."
