The shelter is a primitive, outdoor facility that is dedicated to providing the best care possible for its animals. At Red Fern Animal Shelter, every animal that comes through its doors is given the care and attention they deserve. Dogs and cats are vaccinated, tested, dewormed, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Additionally, Brush 75, a classic 1967 Jeep Kaiser with a 250-gallon tank and a 250 GPM pump, is on loan from Tennessee State Forestry, assisting in effective firefighting efforts. Our PUMPER 751982 Mack, equipped with a 500-gallon tank and a 1500 GPM pump, provides robust capabilities for tackling larger fires.
