"Maybe two semi capable or successful engineers in the entire college. The most lazy professors in one of the lowest ranking ABET accredited colleges IN THE NATION. Coming from someone who has nearly finished two engineering degrees. The professors cannot answer their own questions given and Dr.Barker was late to every lecture. He also never knew any of the material. Every upper level class I took the class average was near failing before they curved at the end of the year. This isn’t because the material was hard, the teachers were impotent."
"Terrible college! Terrible university! The Knoxville campus is beautiful, and the students are friendly, and the sporting events are fun, but the professors are utterly incompetent teachers. My professors had no talent, no passion, no personality, and no accountability. Their lectures were dry as dust. The professors are all State of Tennessee government employees — dull, dry, uninspiring civil servants. Don’t be fooled by all the football and basketball hype and marching bands. The professors stink."
