“What an incredible experience. Fantastic food, wine and hospitality. Went for the 8 course tasting menu, especially enjoyed the Crab, Raviolo and bara brith Souffle. The Laverbread Bread was delicious too Wine selection was great and not too expensive. Make sure you book plenty of time in advanced as it's not always easy to get a table.”

“1st time visiting here with friends. Needed to wait to get a table as we didn't book in advance, but were sitted well before the time they stated. Staff were extremely helpful and went the extra mile. Chips were to die for!! My only concern is that we had to go around the side of the restaurant and there was no at the corner where the slabs were as part of the footpath.”

“Busy coffee house right in the city centre. You know it's good when the locals of all walks of life come here for breakfast. Lovely staff and great set menu with lots of choices. This would be the place if you're looking to try the Welsh breakfast with laver and cockles.”

“A small house next to Neath castle. The service is so kind and the room has a traditional decoration. All was delicious, specially beef in red wine. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy with good food.”

“We visited for a family Sunday and had a fantastic experience. The place itself is cosy and welcoming and the staff were the same. I strongly recommend booking as the popularity of the place means a walk in won't have too much chance. We had the choice of beef or turkey dinners on the Christmas menu and both were enjoyed by those that had them. The portions are enormous!! The place is known for it and it wasn't just for Christmas. I can't stress enough how much you get!!! There's a good range of drinks on offer too and it's all reasonably priced. Well worth a visit and in a historic place to wander around after.”

“6 of us went there for Sunday lunch today. I generally cook my own on Sunday's. I cannot thank them enough for the delicious food. Tasty and plentiful. I will certainly go there again for Sunday lunch. Also reasonably priced. Have also been there on Saturdays. I have never had a bad meal there.”

“Absolute gem of a place! Authentic Turkish food, probably the best shawarma I've had in ages. Huge variety of fresh juices. Lunchtime offer is amazing! Must try! Great seating available.”

“Fist time I've been here in years. Internal seating has changed, there are no booths anymore. Food was outstanding. It's been taken over by the same people who have Maderia on the kingsway. Great menu selection, you can have a 3 course meal. Ladies toilet has not the best lock, bit confusing how to unlock it and when I was there a woman was locked in and was banging on the door foe a while before anyone realised where the noise was coming from. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Good selection of alcohol.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Oyster House for 3 nights in March. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the sea views are stunning. The road is behind so the room looks directly out onto the bay. It was beautiful to wake up to sea views in the morning. The rooms are well decorated and tasteful with a light, airy and homely feeling. The double bed is large and comfortable. The shower was hot with great pressure. Breakfast was in the bar below and had a good choice of vegetation options, as well as traditional cooked breakfasts. The veggie fry up was great and croissants were good too. The staff were very friendly and we loved saying hi to them each day and were always greeted with a smile and a short chat. If you're visiting Mumbles and Swansea Bay, then the Oyster House is definitely the best place to stay!”

“Had some incredible food from Mor this afternoon whilst sat in the tent Southend Gardens. Cods roe was incredible but also loved the croquetas, tempura Oysters and Custard tart. Service was friendly and food arrived quickly One of the best afternoons I've had in Swansea. Highly recommended”

“Nicest steak around. Steak was stunning and perfectly cooked. Not too fussed on the steak sauce or the cocktails they were too artificial in flavour for for the price that they were and could not taste any alcohol at all in them even the dissarano sourz one, all could taste was lemon. Will definitely be back and just have a coke next time”
