“After a walk with my two dogs, we drove over to just for pets to pick up their raw food which staff had kindly put to one side for me. As my boys were with me, I thought it would be a good opportunity to bring them in to use the weighing scales. The second I approached the doors I could see a huge smile on the member of staffs face (obviously a dog lover like me!) we all had a lovely greeting then I carried on to weigh the boys. After this, I approached the till to pay for the food. The staff were SO kind and loving towards my dogs, they asked genuine questions about them and picked up their names straight away which showed how much they cared. They had treats on hand and didn’t mind the slobber that came as a result! I honestly felt that for the 20 or so minutes that I was in store, the staff loved my dogs as much as I do, and you really can’t ask for more than that. What a wonderful store with wonderful staff. Thank you very much for such a memorable visit.”

“Well what a pleasant surprise. Major refurbishment undertaken. The rooms are fresh, warm, exceptionally clean and comfy. New walk in shower, the old dated baths have been removed although you can probably get a room with a bath but this was not needed for us. Lovely breakfast, buffet style full English, cereals, toast, coffee, juice, Danish pastries, yoghurt. Cannot fault the service, staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking. Outside breakfast terrace. We had an evening meal which was really tasty and price was not too high. New bar area and seating with USB charging points. There's a spa , gym and pool but we did not use these on our visit. Lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend.”

“This hotel is set in very good location just 2/5 minutes away from the famous gardens and a really good quality single floor shopping village. Staff when booking in are very friendly with a nice coffee seating area and bar with a restaurant/breakfast area. Our disabled room was as we expected and was very spacious and clean . I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the gardens and need a overnight stay or on route to your holiday destination as we are .”

“Excellent hotel for quick stay. Nice, clean rooms. Mo and the night duty front desk staff were amazing! They helped out with a smile even though it was very late. When I came down at 5am they were again more then happy to help! Big thanks to Mo! My different time zone meetings went well because of him!”

“First time going to a charity event had a real good welcome from the staff. Brought a new bed that our dog teddy got used to it after a couple of days. Brought other things has well shall look forward to the next one. Very popular attendance hope they raised loads for the Air Ambulance”

“Cleanliness of room was good, not exceptional. Decent room space. Comfortable bed. Amazing shower. Breakfast options were extensive, but all were cooked well and enjoyed by the whole family, whether it was the continental breakfast or the hot English style breakfast. Only criticism was we had asked for an adjoining 'Jack n Jill' bedrooms. Which we advised they had, however the reality was rooms next to each other.”

“Great customer service. Product was not in stock and I was emailed immediately and informed when they would be back in stock. I'm not a professional groomer so I asked for advice on the combs I had ordered and I was given information that I needed to proceed with the order. Constantly kept in touch about expected delivery date”

“Excellent little place for holidays in the UK with lovely owners and some pretty cute companions that say hi. As a side note, the track to get down to the house may not be suitable for cars that have a lower suspension than normal (taking it slow is your best bet!)”

“Basic but clean rooms, amazing staff we had a problem with our booking and they sorted it for us very quickly, pet friendly. For the price you can't go wrong. Defo going again.”

“Stunning views and an excellent surrounding for a relaxing get away. it is very quiet and tranquil. We were not disturbed once! My partner & I stayed here with another couple and have left with nothing but excellent feedback! Just on your doorstep is a stunning lake with a very picturesque walking route. The hot tub was fantastic. Spending most of our nights winding down and relaxing. It is a comfortable size for 4 adults and a nice way to finish your day. The lodge was very clean and made us very comfortable! We cannot wait to stay again!”

“Yes on the side of expensive BUT fabulous when a product delivers on what it says it will , high quality ingredients, great texture and this particular Shar Pei absolutely loves both the bedtime treats ( out like a light ) and the Hip and Joint ones . Evidently it's Thursdays they are open to the public ...we will be back”

He’s been brilliantly looked after and loved the visits from Marianne & Neil who sent lots of photos and updates from their visits, helping to set my mind at ease.
