“This place is amazing!! I cannot recommend it more highly! I booked it for 31 of us to stay for my husbands surprise 40th birthday. We were the last to arrive so had no idea what we were walking into whilst all the other guests had arrived. I did wonder what we would find as this place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but it was SO worth it. The venue was fantastic and is basically like having a lock in - your very own pub. Such a fantastic idea and really unique place to stay. Peak Venues website is brilliant with all the links on there for food and local pubs etc. We used a private chef one night and Scoff food which was delivered in the morning for that evening for the second night and did a tesco delivery for the rest. The venue is lovely and really nicely done - the lounge is lovely and spacious so we all watched the rugby on the saturday afternoon. The pub area is large enough that everyone can eat together. The cottages are beautiful and really recently refurbished by the look of it and are much nicer than the rooms in the actual house but they are all still really nicely done. As the cottages are set in a courtyard it doesn't feel like they are that set away from the property. The village is lovely and all the people staying in the house that visited the local shops commented on how friendly this little village is. Everyone who came for this weekend of fun could not say enough good things about this place...This is definitely 10/10... If you think it's a long way to go...I promise it will be worth the drive there!!”

“This is a lovely friendly family run buisness with a huge selection of choice on all pet /sheep/calf /beef and equine feed and a complete range of all bedding and accessories . Jo and Peter go out of their way to help you in a very efficent and warm manner.”

“Nantwich Pet Vets are brilliant.Today I had to take my dog there as she's poorly. They were so kind and caring. They were able to operate right away and they saved dogs life. I would highly recommend these guys all day long.”

“Visited the reptile specialist with my tortoises. Vet was knowledgeable about the health and voiced his worries clearly. Plenty of free parking spaces. Receptionists are super nice too!”

“We booked a 2 person bedroom a few days before our stay after another booking got cancelled. Good and easy welcome. Very clean rooms and no noise at all during the evenings or night. Lovely breakfast with good options. We also had dinner 2 times. I would totally recommend you have the tapas when you’re eating here! A lot of tasty options and very good value for your money. One of the better stays on our roadtrip for sure!”

“We stayed here overnight on a spa deal and wow, we were blown away. The drive up to the castle is just wow!! The castle has so much history and we really enjoyed walking around reading about everything. The staff are really friendly and we even got shown personally to our room which was a lovely touch. I can't remember the man who took us but he was very informative and I was happy to meet another step counter - ha. We used the spa and again, super helpful. I forgot to pack a bobbly for myself and the lady on reception looked everywhere and managed to find one and she came and gave me it which I was so so so grateful for - THANKS!! The real show stealer for me on this visit was the gym... it's not your average dusty aged spa gym. This is a top spec gym with an absolute huge variety of equipment it's insane. The gym manager was really friendly and showed me around. If I am to visit again.... I will be spending more time in the gym ha!!!”

“Stayed here for 3 nights and have to say although they are all the same layout this one was nice and felt fresh, front of house excellent and friendly with good knowledge of area for food as Pub at front was not open Monday or Tuesday. Look forward to staying again and good luck Nantwich.”

Not only did this mean no anxiety for the dog because he stayed in his familiar environment, but they also looked after the house, and it was spotless when we came back. All-in-all, exceptional service and would highly recommend!!”
