Salthouse Pet Boarding
“We took our 10 month old puppy this evening to the outdoor field. We would definitely recommend! A very clean and well organised set up with separate entrance and exit to the field. The field had lovely views to enjoy while puppy could run around freely and play fetch. Also a very warm welcome upon arrival.”

Inside and outside spa facilities, changing rooms excellent. Everywhere smells gorgeous. We had lunch, only a sandwich but very nice. Blueberry mocktail amazing. Will definitely return.”
The Tawny Hotel
“Incredible hotel with so much to offer! We had the most amazing stay at The Tawny Hotel. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and kind. Our porter Simon was especially helpful and made us feel welcome. The rooms were spectacular and you felt like you were staying right in the middle of nature. The food at The Plumicorn was also phenomenal! If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay near the Peak District this is a great location!”

Whiston Hall Hotel
“This is a review for the restaurant as we didn’t stay here. We live close by and have started using the restaurant at Whiston Hall. Tonight we had a family meal for my sons 21st birthday. It was faultless! The staff are lovely and welcoming, the restaurant itself is beautiful, very spacious and airy, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The food is just gorgeous and reasonably priced. There were 11 of us and all our meals were served swiftly, hot and without a hiccup. Thank you!”
Premier Inn Stoke-On-Trent (Hanley) hotel
“Normally Premier Inns are so far out of town it's a pain to get anywhere, but this is actually quite close to the centre of Hanley. In addition its right by several restaurants that are thriving and busy, not even counting the Premier Inn Restaurant. It is busier here than in the centre of the town! The rooms are great - warm, cosy and thick duvets. You can't hear any noise from the busy roads outside. The only suggestion I would make for visitors is bring your own shampoo/conditioner, as Premier Inn only supplies a shower gel/shampoo 2-in-1 thing which honestly is OK as a shower gel and smells nice but honestly would not use it on my hair.”
Holly Trees Hotel
“Beautiful Rooms, Amazing owners who went above and beyond. Great service Clean rooms, comfy beds and top notch breakfast with plenty of choice.”
DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent
“Well what a pleasant surprise. Major refurbishment undertaken. The rooms are fresh, warm, exceptionally clean and comfy. New walk in shower, the old dated baths have been removed although you can probably get a room with a bath but this was not needed for us. Lovely breakfast, buffet style full English, cereals, toast, coffee, juice, Danish pastries, yoghurt. Cannot fault the service, staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking. Outside breakfast terrace. We had an evening meal which was really tasty and price was not too high. New bar area and seating with USB charging points. There's a spa , gym and pool but we did not use these on our visit. Lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend.”
Tollgate Hotel & Leisure
“Great overnight stay in a a very clean and spacious room with comfortable bed and lovely clean white bedding. Bathroom was also a good size and extremely clean, only downside is every room has a bath with shower over which for the mobility challenged like myself is a bit of a problem, but for 1 night, coped with the help of my Daughter. Was surprised at the little added extras, decent tea and coffee, miniature toiletries and hair dryer, all included in the price. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, would definitely stay here again. And to top it all off the price is one of the cheapest I found. Just wanted a stopover between Stoke Theatre last night and Drayton Manor today on the way home. Couldn't have picked a better place for the price and professionalism. Thanks Emma and staff. See you all again soon. Jackie and Jae 106. Xxx”
Premier Inn Stoke/Trentham Gardens hotel
“This hotel is set in very good location just 2/5 minutes away from the famous gardens and a really good quality single floor shopping village. Staff when booking in are very friendly with a nice coffee seating area and bar with a restaurant/breakfast area. Our disabled room was as we expected and was very spacious and clean . I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the gardens and need a overnight stay or on route to your holiday destination as we are .”
Hilton Garden Inn Stoke on Trent
“Excellent hotel for quick stay. Nice, clean rooms. Mo and the night duty front desk staff were amazing! They helped out with a smile even though it was very late. When I came down at 5am they were again more then happy to help! Big thanks to Mo! My different time zone meetings went well because of him!”
Premier Inn Crewe (Nantwich) hotel
“Stayed here for 3 nights and have to say although they are all the same layout this one was nice and felt fresh, front of house excellent and friendly with good knowledge of area for food as Pub at front was not open Monday or Tuesday. Look forward to staying again and good luck Nantwich.”
Holiday Inn Express Stoke on Trent, an IHG Hotel
“Cleanliness of room was good, not exceptional. Decent room space. Comfortable bed. Amazing shower. Breakfast options were extensive, but all were cooked well and enjoyed by the whole family, whether it was the continental breakfast or the hot English style breakfast. Only criticism was we had asked for an adjoining 'Jack n Jill' bedrooms. Which we advised they had, however the reality was rooms next to each other.”
Travelodge Stoke-on-Trent Trentham
“Basic but clean rooms, amazing staff we had a problem with our booking and they sorted it for us very quickly, pet friendly. For the price you can't go wrong. Defo going again.”
Home from Home Bunny and Guinea pig boarding hotel
“First time using this and we loved it. We had regular updates and our piggies were very well looked after and even got a goody bag when they went home. We will definitely use them again. My son said he would give them 6 stars if he could!”
Travelodge Stoke Talke
“great little travellodge near stoke on trent. we were visiting Alton towers with a group and stayed here. Basic facilities but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Even though its near a busy junction there was minimal road noise or disturbance. Theres a handy little greggs and subway spot across the carpark for food in the morning before hitting the road.”
Holiday Inn Stoke on Trent M6, JCT.15, an IHG Hotel
“We enjoyed our stay, it was busy due to half term break but we were still able to get a table for dinner and breakfast. The pool is a bonus but be warned, you need to book a slot in advance. Breakfast was good, busy, but there were plenty of staff to replenish supplies. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would return.”

Lavender Cottage Cattery
“I was so nervous leaving my cat in a cattery but lavender cottage was amazing, the way I could access cat cam at anytime was a good touch. I can’t sing there praises enough. We will definitely use them again”
The Collar Club Staffs
“We can’t thank Shaz enough for looking after Chester so well while we went away for a night recently. This was the first time that Chester had ever stayed anywhere other than with family and I was quite worried about leaving him but he ran in with his tail wagging and has had the best time! Chester is a real home dog and leaving him in a kennel environment was not an option for us. Here he was able to stay in the family home and had other dogs for company too.Shaz really reassured us by sending lots of photos and updates and has clearly given him lots of love! We would highly recommend The Collar Club and already have a weeks holiday booked for later in the year knowing that he will be looked after brilliantly.”
Foxtwood Cottages
“Swimming in the lake was the highlight: about 14-15C, fed from a spring (also supplies the cottage), and there’s a 30m ‘lane’ where the weeds are mowed. Further afield, there’s a shallow clear paddling stream - perfect for kids. The cottage is right beside the narrow boat canals for easy walks for the sensible but plenty of climbs for the intrepid walker or cyclist as Foxtwood is in a steep valley. The bolt hole is very generously sized for two, with jacuzzi bath, and walk in shower, and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. And comfortable mattress on king-size frame. And private garden at the back. The quiet late summer season (after the school hols) was perfect retreat for us.”
