“Lovely little café. What I call a proper café too. Decided against being charged a small fortune at the 'big coffee shop chain' round the corner and tried Sally's for the first time- I'll go back every time now. Staff were really lovely, attentive and pleasant. The food was absolutely bloody lovely as well- had breakfast. There's a small but very good selection of cakes in there as well. Café was clean and tidy throughout, food was lovely and I shan't return to costalot....”

“Decent little boozer... Community run and very friendly... Seems a well worth visiting to lend it support... Two sky boxes is handy for sports, darts board, good music on the jukebox, and selection of drinks that should keep most people help... It was my first time in and I'll definitely be back.”

“Absolutely brilliant. Both my daughter and I had a wonderful time. We each painted two items, a dog and three mugs which we're very pleased with. The mugs look great on my tree mug and we plan to go back to do some matching coasters. We also had a drink each, one being a milkshake made with ice cream which my daughter loved and a muffin. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, great location and a really enjoyable and relaxing activity. Perfect for children and adults alike, highly recommended.”

“Had an amazing 3 course lunch here with friends to celebrate a birthday and we had such a good time. Staff were lovely and really looked after us. We had the 3 course luncheon which @ £19.95 per person + drinks is just phenomenal value. No wonder it's always busy whenever we go. “Nipped into this fantastic old country pub for a pint of refreshments from our seven mile walk, we were met with a friendly smile and quick service, there was already a big bowl out so the dog could also get some refreshment. Lovely and warm with a real fire lit. We'll worth a visit.”

“A really beautiful building inside & out with lovely deçor. The staff were friendly & helpful when told there was a coeliac diner & a lactose intolerant & pork-free diner. There was a ramp to the right hand side for visitors with mobility needs (the main entrance has 3-4 steps).”

“Great place for an evening meal. We stopped in without a booking and after a short wait were seated. The group had the rump steak, beef & guiness pie and the lamb shank. All were delicious. They had a variety of beers on tap. We tried a selection of the IPAs. Service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommended.”

They have a fantastic cocktail menu if your wanting a few cocktails, alternatively they also do the most refreshingly delicious mocktails, perfect for just a little afternoon drink, for those non drinkers or the designated drivers out there. I didn't have one today, but they also do the most amazing cheesecake.”
