"Took a couple of friends for a birthday lunch in the restaurant. Glad we had booked as the restaurant was full on a Wednesday lunchtime. There was a good reason for this! Beautiful laid, clean and shining table. Friendly and obliging staff. Wonderful selection on the menu. Very generous portions of tasty and well cooked food. Silver service was a treat! Dessert trolley was to die for and if you are too full, you can take your very generous portion home! Lovely staff and great prices from the bar. A real gem, which we hope will remain the same for many years. Well done to the management and staff. Now our favourite place."

We had the 3 course luncheon which @ £19.95 per person + drinks is just phenomenal value. No wonder it's always busy whenever we go. "A really nice place to visit if you want to stop by for a meal either in the pub or the restaurant. There was parking just outside. I stopped by to use the restroom. Some of the people serving were very nice. I wasn't comfortable to stop and sit down here when I wasn't going to buy anything."
