“We had booked the table in advance, which was a big help as it was a busy Sunday lunch. We were seated immediately. My husband had a birthday badge on, so every member of staff we came into contact with enthusiastically wished him a happy birthday which was so lovely. All staff were welcoming and professional. We ordered fro the Sunday roast menu and the halloumi kebab, with a few sides. Service speed was more than reasonable for the amount we ordered during a busy service. Food quality was excellent. Staff were more than happy to bring extra table condiments without extra charge.”

“Another excellent addition to Kelham. Fantastic range of beers, great atmosphere and a really nice place to chill. The staff are friendly and always appear passionate about the beers they are brewing/selling. Plus it's dog friendly so we can call for a pint and take the dog, winner! There is also a Bao bun bar if you want some food.”

“1st time visiting had a takeaway, have tills and onscreen ordering like mcd's ordered std kebab very tasty, chips nice but a bit pricy, also had some extras Picles get etc, but in hind sight wouldn't have ordered them, meat was nice would definitely go again soon”

“Tried tonight as the new area we moved to allows for delivery. Got to say it was one of the nicest jal frezi's I've had in a long time. Delivery driver was extremely honest and came back when I gave him two 20s that were stuck together and I hadn't noticed so we are extremely grateful for that. Will definitely back next time we fancy a curry.”

“Lived in Gainsborough area for 30 years and only visited this gem of a hotel last night, enjoyed a relaxing pre meal drink in the lovely garden difficult to believe only minutes walk from the town centre. Opted for the a la carte menu and thoroughly enjoyed two beautifully presented courses that were absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely dine there again .”

“I've been told by my good lady to score this place highly we'd never been before but the atmosphere was great. The banter from the staff and the locals was welcoming and it felt like we were local too. The food was good the good lady ate it all and trust me that says a lot. The question is would we go back if we were in the area "yes" is the answer...”

“Beyond just bites to eat . Do recommend booking on the weekends. Fabulous food . They have a few sharing platters. We really enjoyed the Bar board . Or you can try a few of their tapas like grilled prawns, pork belly , truffle mushrooms that were absolutely divine!!!! sweet potatoe fries or a hummus bowl with focaccia. Delicious flavoursome food. Not just your run of the mill grab a bite to eat place. A wonderful find .”

“Wonderful family run dog friendly guest house. John, Judy and Graham are warm, friendly and welcoming. I stayed for two nights with my two dogs, in the annex, where we had plenty of room. My dogs and I received a warm welcome, with great advice on local walks for dogs. The breakfast is awesome. Thank you so much. See you again soon.”
