“Got to say, I've been meaning to get down here sooner than I have, but I have to say it actually does impress. The food is spot on (fried slice for the win!) And is nicely finished. Clean and tidy along with pretty fast service (as it's Reading Festival, I expected a longer wait time) See you next weekend!”
Corner Lounge Cafe

Englefield Stores & Tea Room
“The lady who mans the café also bakes the cakes and her baking is fantastic. I eat far too much cake and can safely say that her coffee cake is one of the best I've ever had. Not dry, full of flavour, excellent butter cream. The cream tea was also worth every penny. Highly recommended for a genuine slice of good country baking (especially on a sunny day).”

Nice and clean and good facilities with clean toilets. Friendly staff too.”
