“An excellent place to eat the finest steak meal in Berkshire! The menu is full of goodies but the steak variety is superb. The chef prepares the steak according to your order, cooked to perfection on oak logs, right in front of you on the glorious log grill in the dining room. After cooking it is ‘rested’ under the infrared lights at the right temperature and served thereafter. The place has great ambiance with helpful and knowledgeable staff.”

It's ethnic tapas on steroids The turkey and beef carvery were pretty good too It's all you can eat..and eat all I could I definitely did. Great variety of deserts The bad It costs £20 a head and the drinks are expensive so go there when your hungry and prepared to eat. It's tight for space with tables close together The ugly There wasn't any. All the staff are pretty good looking too. Would highly recommend”

“Stayed for one night, our package included three course dinner, bottle of prosecco and strawberries dipped in chocolate. Meal was very good, choice between an Indian menu and more traditional menu and could mix and match which was added bonus. Food came quickly and portions were perfect size, plenty of room for dessert! Slow cooked beef was delicious for main, the chocolate sorbet was special for dessert. Also the marmalade pudding was something to write home about. Servers were absolutely lovely and very helpful with questions we had about menu (Callum and Rob served us). Would definitely recommend.”

“Lovely experience! We arrived after 9pm for dinner, really hungry after a busy day. We had Mushroom and Ham pizz - really really good, wow, well seasoned, fresh and delicious Pasta with prawns- classic Italian but they use "Mother pasta sauce ", you can feel the flavours from the first bite, well seasoned, lovely presentation, love it Pasta carbonara - classic carbonara, delicious sauce ( not to fatty), the bacon was fat free making a big difference, well seasoned- my partner love it. Service - 5* - our service was lovely, attentive and it was the best one so far. We travelled from London for one week, we tried few restaurants, no other comments Thank you so much Angelina, you made our evening great ❤️ Will be back soon”

“There were so, so attentive and helpful with allergy friendly dining for my family here. We have a complicated set of allergies between us and they were thorough, helpful and the food was great. They helped find something suitable for my daughter who has multiple allergies and took a great deal of care in the kitchen with preparation. “We had the spring menu at lunchtime on Friday which is three courses for £30. The food was outstanding, especially for the price. The service could not have been any better. The team were incredibly friendly, and the right level of attentive. We were there with our four week old newborn and everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Assistant manager went above & beyond to ensure the food for my Grandson didn't have dairy or tomatoes in it. Very happy with the fantastic service & helpful staff. “I only had a drink In here so couldn't do.ent on the food. The bar was very nicely decorated, it had a separate area for dining it in my opinion, should have had a separate area for adults only as being in a hotel, there was a lot of kids in there, this isn't me being pompous as i was one of the people who had a child with them, just think the people who don't have kids staying with them should have a nice area to relax in without screaming kids. Prices were reasonable for a hotel bar and service was fast and polite.”

“From the moment you walk into this absolutely charming restaurant you feel it is something very special. This tiny businessis run by the most lovely, friendly couple you could wish to meet. As an added bonus they offer the most impeccable food and service too. There are no other staff so in order to ensure the numbers are kept way down to a maximum I would guess of around 16 covers, all arriving for one sitting. There are no food menus, you get what you are given but it is truly excellent food - the best produce, offered through a multi-course tasting menu, bought locally wherever possible and cooked by Ben to perfection. Lornette serves the food seamlessly, explaining the details of each course with true professionalism, friendly but not intrusive. The wine list is reasonably priced and to be honest so is the food for the quality of the product and the standard of the service. Between Ben and Lornette, a restaurant has been created which provides its guest with a truly memorable occasion - a hugely refreshing arrival to the Farnham area.”

“Nice, it was very genuine, cooked from the heart. My wife wanted hot!, and it was, I wanted mild, and it was, fried rice was amasing, soooo good. It’s less western oriented, and I think it benefits from that as they fit nicely between both worlds. Give it a go, you may be presently surprised.”

“We had a fantastic meal for my hubbies birthday on Saturday 13 Nov 21. The service was outstanding, there when needed but by no means invasive. I have no words for how good the food was and how much above and beyond Jason and team went to accommodate what the birthday boy asked for - not only did he want an October special but he wanted one from Wallingford which they happily made especially for him and in his own words "that was the best bit of steak I have eaten for a very long time" There were 9 of us and we all enjoyed every dish. Thank you Jason and your amazing team for an unforgettable meal. We will be back soon xx”

“Pleasant surprise at Mexican lunch in Henley. Truly expected the usual boring Brit take on Mexican food, but I was wrong. Whatever issues I had with authenticity or portion sizes were swept away by the hospitality and staff, all of whom are at least from the right Continent. Lunch was very slow but service didn’t suffer, I was brought a very good guacamole to nibble on while waiting for the pulled beef empanada starter with excellent salsa verde. The taco plates have three tacos and they kindly let me substitute fish for one of the pork Cochinita ones. Glad I did as they were generously overstuffed to the point of being hard to eat. Shame the corn tortillas weren’t the authentic nixtamalised corn ones, but the rice was very tasty, all washed down with a couple of Dos XX beers. The menu looks good, the flavours were right on and the variable heat level was not cautious. “Very hot” was exactly that, even for this chilli-head! A taco plate for lunch was £20, which with extra tortillas to share fillings would be a good lunch for two. Recommended for something different in Henley.”
