“My family have been customers of Windmill Garage for over twenty years. John Simmance and his team have always been efficient, prompt, honest and friendly. An example of their integrity happened recently. I purchased a two-year old car 6 months ago and under the warranty terms had it serviced at the dealers for that make. When collecting the car, I was informed that the brake pads needed replacing at a cost of £360. I declined their offer and instead went to Windmill Garage to do the work. John phoned me later to tell ( and show) me that the pads were less than half worn and certainly did not need replacing. The guy tried every trick he could to avoid us but eventually I had to include the finance company to get any cooperation from him. Eventually we just left the car with the guy in Taunton. We got the car back 2 months later. All the dashboard lights came on shortly after. In desperation and having heard good things about Station Garage we booked the car in. Throughout, I was called daily and kept up to date. A couple of days later the car was ready, all problems solved and for a very reasonable price too.
