"Had a big bag full of clothes, called ahead to see whats in style that they would take. I had clothes that they told me on the phone they would buy. I drive down there drop the clothes off and wait, only to wait about 30 minutes and them say none. I call ahead and take clothes they will buy and only for them to say we wont take anything. Talk about a waste of time and gas, if you are looking to donate clothes, better off going to goodwill next door. No plans on going back and wasting more time there ever again."

"Just a big flirt fest behind the counter. Had to ask if a register was open to even get help. Was waiting at the counter with a line of people behind me while an employee was dancing around and poking her coworkers with a stick. Extremely unprofessional and quite frankly, embarrassing. Save yourself the time and just sell on Poshmark. Edit after owners response: No reason to be surprised that I sold clothes during my visit - that is why I was there, no? Do you blame me for accepting cash for my items after patiently waiting for far longer than necessary? The woman behind me even said “thank you” for asking if the register was open, as it was clear the aforementioned employee was too busy goofing off to notice we were standing in line. This is the first review I have ever left because the negligence of your staff was so off-putting. There is simply a time and place for staff to “enjoy their work”, it should not get in the way of running your business. It is not an attack to tell the truth. Perhaps instead of resorting to defensiveness, you could spend such energy on making positive changes within your business. You may have happier customers in return."

"Everyone was friendly, disappointed I brought in brand new uggs with tags and was offered $24? But I guess it’s the name of the game. Otherwise the experience was good!"

"Don’t waste your time trying to sell here. Everything everyone says in these reviews is true. I had brought a big box before with many really good quality items and they said they couldn’t take anything. Then I tried a different Plato’s and they took half the box. I decided to give them a second chance today, folding half of my clothes and leaving the ones on top in a mess. Came back to them telling me the same thing they usually do… “out dated, over stocked…”. I looked into my box before walking out and they had messed around with the unfolded… left the folded clothes exactly how I left them. What a shame. If you’re going to lie to me just refrain from wasting my time and I’ll gladly take my clothes elsewhere... What a joke. Sell somewhere else. And from the way some of these reviews are responded to, you can tell how easily offended and unprofessional they get from criticism. You’re a business. Do better. Edit after owner’s response: I’ll be blessing the community by finding another Plato’s or donating to Goodwill, as I would rather give up new items for free then resell to a place like this. There was no attack in the review I left. It was simply factual and disappointing. This platform is to warn people, not to boost your egos."

"Rude employees. Clearly very lazy. I stopped in and checked in to sell my items to them and I was ignored for 10 minutes. The woman behind the counter would not even look at me until I walked up and said something to her. She then proceeded to tell me that they stopped buying at 5pm, where as on their website it states that they buy all day every day. If I wouldn’t have said anything to her I don’t think she would have ever acknowledged me. Poor customer service."
