Morris, a former officer and director of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia. The fountain features twelve life-size impala antelopes leaping over ten jets of water in an oval-shaped pool. The graceful arcs of the impalas in flight capture the animals' lightness and agility, with a mother and calf grazing nearby, unaware of the alarm that caused the rest of the herd to bolt. This steeply sloped preserve is part of the Stone Hill Greenway, a vast, unbroken forest that provides essential habitat for wildlife. The property was used as "Camp Ivy" for Girl Scout Troop #3 of Schwenksville for many years, allowing children to connect with the natural world.
