Oxford Place is a historic building located at 1120 15th Street Northwest in Canton, Ohio, United States. This former John H. Lehman High School, built around 1920, has been transformed into sixty-two affordable senior apartments, offering a mix of efficiency, 1- and 2-bedroom units. The project is a priority community revitalization effort in collaboration with The City of Canton. With support from the City of Canton, low-income housing tax credits from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, and state historic tax credits from the Ohio Development Services Agency, all 62 units will be affordable for individuals with incomes not exceeding 80% of the area median income. Some units will specifically target those with incomes at 50% or less of the area median income, with 7 units set aside for residents with mobility or sensory impairments.
