"Had a good, positive experience in the ER. Doctors were thorough and explained everything in good detail. Nurses and staff were very nice and showed empathy. I feel I got quality care and that the staff cared about me and truly wanted me to feel better. One of the doctors (Tofte) who was not treating me, saw my name on the charts and recognized me and made a point to stop by my room to check on me. Such a nice gesture!"

"I’m going through some health issues and have been going to CMH a lot for various testing. Absolutely every single person I’ve interacted with has treated me with kindness and compassion. The facilities are very nice too. This hospital saved my life in the past and then later they saved my son’s life. Now that I’m here again, I can see it’s the same great place and I’m so glad I started coming here."

"The staff that I have interacted with have been great. Some have gone well out of their way to make sure I get the best care possible. However, it's clear that the hospital organization, and operation itself is HEAVILY flawed. Miscommunication happens constantly, and somehow basic things fall through cracks. For example, I have a standing blood draw order every 3 months. The first 3 times where no problem at all. I get my blood taken, the results are faxed to my Dr in a timely manner with no issues. For some reason the past 2 times this has been done, I have had to call the blood lab at least twice to get them to fax the results. Every time the person I speak to says they have the "results in front of them", they can look up the same fax #, for the same Dr it was sent to with no issues the first few times. They say they'll "fax it right now", I wait a couple days, my Dr still doesn't have it, I call again. This usually takes a week and a half after the blood is taken for my Dr to get the results. I have no clue what the exact problem is, but I'm sure the staff are a frustrated by this tedious, time consuming, idiotic problem as I am. I doubt it's the staffs doing, as they are busy as it is. I've started looking for other places I could get my labs done. All I have to say is CMH is VERY fortunate that there are few alternatives available to the people of Clinton county, and their staff, who BOTH deserve so much better."

"I had a procedure with Dr. Del Mauro. The staff were all very nice. The problem I had was the doctors staff and the hospital staff not being on the same page. I was called before the procedure by the doctor's staff. They told me to make sure I took my blood pressure medication before I came. A little bit later, I was called by the Anesthesia office of the hospital and they told me to absolutely not take my medication before the procedure. In my case with low dosage it may not have been a concern, but it could have been with someone else. The Hospital and the Doctors office need to be in communication with each other in these cases. This was the only concern I had. Both staffs were very kind and friendly to deal with. This is just a little constructive criticism and not a complaint. I was overall pleased with my treatment."
