“I cannot recommend Slaters too highly. My local Citroen dealer in Normandy had told me that my C4GP needed a new gearbox, at a cost of around € 6,000. Slaters provided friendly and helpful advice over the phone, and based on their obvious specialist experience and confidence, I brought the car to the UK. They gave me a loan vehicle whilst they rebuilt the Citroen gearbox, and guaranteed a ‘not to be exceeded’ price for the work, which amounted to only half what the French dealer had quoted. I now have an ‘as new’ gearbox which is working perfectly (and silently!), and with a long warranty. Tellingly, Slaters not only completed the repairs ahead of schedule, but also charged me less than their estimate. Business ethics like that are all too rare in the UK these days. Gearbox issues? Don’t hesitate – go straight to Slaters!”

I had decided on a particular manufacturer but was told there is an alternative option to consider, so I decided to purchase the alternative option. I wasn’t giving a hard sell or expensive options. The van was looked at by Leon as he was the installer, and was explained on the best installation. I decided that I would go ahead with the purchase, I was very fortunate, that their was availability the following week. I found all the staff that I dealt was very friendly, professional and very knowledgable on their products and their service was excellent. I now need to purchase some new speakers which will require installation from Leon. I wouldn’t hesitant in returning again for future purchases or recommending their services.”
