“Excellent hotel, visited for a work conference. Lovely food although the restaurant is expensive, good conference facilities. Very warm in one of the meeting rooms and also the bedrooms were quite warm despite turning the heating off and air con on. Management were very friendly and attentive. Would stay here again.”

“Really great experience overall. The room was nice and clean and the service of the staff was excellent. One thing I want to point out though was that there was an air vent in my room (412) that was making a bit of noise throughout the night, it wasn't too bad however without the noise of the air vent it would have been dead silent in my room and I would have liked that. I'll still rate this hotel a 5 star though as everything else about staying here was top notch.”

“As we had a room at the back it was away from the road, so can not say what the rooms are like there. However the room we got was brilliant, no noise and actually a very comfortable bed. For the quick stay over we wanted, it was above and beyond. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast worthwhile. I would recommend.”

“The staff were very welcoming and delightful to talk to. The room was very clean. There's housekeeping everyday around 12pm. There are a few buildings that contains the rooms and a main building where the reception is. There's a button in each building to contact reception if needed. Overall, very quiet hotel.”

“Staff were lovely, rooms were nice and comfy with a/c and heating in. Showers had great water pressure and beds were comfy. Wasn't aware breakfast was included which made us all happy, not an abundance of selection but was great food and more than what was needed.”

“Ideal little stopping point and pretty nice spacious room. Food next door was a good 9/10 in the evening and I couldn't fault the breakfast in the morning. They even pack your food up and take it to your room if you would rather not sit in the restaurant Close to a nice walk and few other takeaways if you're staying a couple of nights and fancy a change”

“The best Premier Inn we've stayed in. You get what you pay for in the hotel industry, but we always feel that we get good value at Premier Inn for the price you pay. Whilst you don't get luxury toiletries or refrigerated water, here at Premier Inn Goldsmith Street you get clean rooms, clean bedding and towels, black out curtains, super comfortable beds, staff that look like they enjoy their job, great customer service for a low price. We're super chuffed with our stay on 28/11/2022. Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The ladies in the breakfast restaurant were very helpful and went above and beyond when asking the kitchen to start cooking our vegan options before we even sat down. (Great vegan buffet breakfast by the way, this isn't bacon and gourmet kitchen sausage) Excellent location. 5 - 10 mins to the centre, or there is a tram stop on the door step.”

“I stay here for work, it is ideal and by far the nicest in the area. The gym facilities help to unwind after a long day and a nice way to start with a few lengths too. It serves a good breakfast (can't comment on the evening food as my guilty pleasure is the smokehouse down the road). The staff are always helpful and it's very welcoming. I've stayed in a variety of rooms including suites and some of them are in a little need of TLC but in the whole they are clean and of very nice proportions.”

“We stayed in the hotel and parked whilst away on holiday. On our return our car had broke down. The staff in the hotel were so helpful while we waited to be recovered, sorting extra parking and providing hit drinks. Thank you so much for your kindness”

“We stay here often. Lovely club room with super bed and large TV. Ironing board and iron in room and large walk in shower. Towels and soap supplied. Coffee shop, spa and open restaurant. Function suite available too. Great location and a few minutes from junction 25 M1”

“We were upgraded to a superior room, which was amazing. The room was spacious, the shower luxurious, the shampoo smelt divine, other half loved the addition of the coffee machine, bottled water was a nice touch. Felt like an expensive hotel at an affordable price.”

“This was our second visit, and on our first visit, the room we were given was a small twin, and couldn't swing a cat in it. However, in this second visit, they gave a much larger twin, so my review will be based on this visit. Room was very good, spacious comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good, with a good variety of food. I would recommend this hotel.”

“Visited for a work event with an overnight stay. The room was lovely quite large, modern bathroom, great shower. Breakfast was buffet style, lots of selection and very nice too. All staff encountered were very friendly. The event itself was also well catered. Would recommend to anyone.”

“My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service Andrea provided. Our 10 month old British Shorthair kitten Pablo stayed at Andrea's luxury cat hotel for two weeks and he really enjoyed himself! We were anxious about leaving him as he has never stayed away from home before but Andrea's professional and caring approach made us feel much happier about the situation. It was also hugely reassuring to have daily Facebook updates about Pablo's stay; Andrea posted some lovely pictures of him enjoying himself! The suites are all very clean, warm, spacious and full of toys for the cats to play with. Andrea also provided a drinking fountain and the specific brand of food that Pablo enjoys. Andrea was very flexible and she was more than happy to make alternative arrangements for us in taking Pablo home as we arrived back from our holiday a little earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend this service to all cat owners and we will be making arrangements for Pablo to stay again soon! Thank you so much Andrea!”

“The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond and were especially helpful with my elderly mother. The lady serving the meat personally assisted her by dishing up her veg and gravy as she walks with a stick. I do feel there should be a bigger plate option rather than the regular size as the plates are quite small and other diners were in agreement. We especially liked the Xmas decorations as they were a nice touch.”

“Very nice relaxing stay, rooms high standard and clean and quiet. My only complaint is that it was incredibly hot in the room and the windows only opened a fraction. It's also a great location being only a few minutes walk from city centre bars and restaurants.”

“Here for all the wrong reasons, to attend a funeral. Nevertheless, the hotel was very much to hand for the day's events and both the room and service were up to standard. The breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated and there was certainly a good selection for all palates. The staff were always on hand and very friendly and attentive. If I had to be picky the shower wasn't very powerful, but the water was sufficiently hot and that's all it need be. Based on Nottingham University campus, no doubt very handy for visiting academics and families.”

“I've stayed in every 4*+ hotel in Nottingham and this one is by far the best (and nowhere near the most expensive). They've perfected that luxury coziness, I was here for work but the room had me feeling like I was on my honeymoon!! The breakfast is gorgeous and the staff are lovely. I literally felt like a million bucks, I'm in love with this place & will never stay anywhere else.”

“Christmas Day Lunch This was the second time we came for Christmas Day Lunch with family and comes highly recommend. The setting is beautiful with lovely decorations and atmosphere. “Great place, only had a single room which was small, but adequate and clean with tea/coffee . Breakfast was included and was of a high standard as was the Gym facilities which was the main reason for the stay. Negatives: banging door (reception)? Strong smell of cigarettes on landing at top of stairs. Room 2009.”
