“Absolutely brilliant! The place had a nice atmosphere and the team were immediately friendly and very welcoming. There was a good selection of dishes on the menu to the point of us all having several choices that we were trying to pick between. The prices were also very reasonable. Once we had ordered the kids went outside to the play area. It's great when they can play and burn off sone energy whilst waiting for the food. When our meals arrived they looked great and better still it tasted great. The portions were generous and everybody cleared their plates. The children's meals were also great value and they wiped their plates! I can honestly say it was a delicious meal that we thoroughly enjoyed. Desert was equally good. To summarise; good menu, delicious food, great staff, reasonable prices and a lovely establishment. I do recommend and we are going back tonight.”

“A very lovely family friendly pub, with great atmosphere. Four legged friends are welcomed too. Very friendly staff. Without getting too overbearing, managed to keep my whole family entertained during our visit. Amazing food too. Overall British hospitality at its best! Something we all have missed during Pandemic. “A small but well laid out restaurant. The staff were flat out when we arrived and there were 20 of us. They got everything right and really looked after us during the meal. The food was excellent and we had a variety of meals. During the meal we had a visit from the chef to make sure we were satisfied. Make sure you book as this is one of the gems along the sea front.”

“Really welcoming bar even with our three rather wet dogs after a walk along the river. We enjoyed a really tasty sharing platter along with other sides which went down a treat. Highly recommended.”

Jason, the chef, came and spoke to us about our meal. Highly recommend the Grill restaurant at the Comfort Hotel.”

“This is the best American food, I have ever had. Came here whilst on holiday, from the old American cars outside, the themed interior inside was very authentic. All I can say is the food was amazing and I would recommend to anyone. Prices slightly on the higher side, but for the ambience and food quality definitely 100% worth it.”

“Whats not to like! 2 adult two course meals and 1 child’s 3 course meal. (Two of these meal’s were Steak) Two alcoholic drinks and a bottomless fizzy for my son. Arrived on a weekday just before specials menu ended and was offered it, pleasant staff and nice food for just over £40. Pleasantly surprised and if i lived locally wouldn’t hesitate to make it a regular thing at those prices .”
