“What a great place! Very welcoming and friendly staff. I popped in with my Wife at lunchtime and immediately felt like I was a local. The bar area as you first go in was well stocked with a wide range of beers and wines. We decided to have lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Very generous, superbly presented steak with vegetables on the side. Actual, what I would call proper chips, (subjective, but to me a chip should have 4 sides and be 10mm thick). The steak was cooked perfectly as asked. My wife had Katsu chicken which she tells me was simply delicious. Overall a great find on a rainy Thursday in March, next time we will be almost certainly having a desert.”

“We have just had a fantastic time at this restaurant. My wife has an allergic reaction to bell peppers and the restaurant phoned before our visit to find out about the allergy then prepared a list of suitable salad she could have and prepared a plate of salad just for her. The meat was very well prepared and tasted wonderful. All in all this is a restaurant I would happily recommend.”

“Outstanding!!! We visited 3 months ago for my fiancés birthday and came again tonight for mine! The flavours in the food are something else and there's so much to choose from and try! Best meal we've had out in a long time, the cocktails are fantastic and a great range to choose from too. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, a real credit to the restaurant! “We decided to give this place a try for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration and we booked a table for ten people on a Saturday night. It was the right decision with all six adults and four children being well pleased with both the main course and desserts and returning ten clean plates from both our courses, so nothing to take home for the dogs. There were three vegetarians among us and they had a good selection to choose from, and the carnivores among us were also presented with a good variety of options. We didn't have starters, so I can't comment on them, but I would imagine it would be similar, judging by what we were served with. The bottom line is excellent food, in a pleasant and roomy space with a good selection of menu options at a reasonable price, all served by attentive staff and plenty of on-site parking. We'll be returning next time we want to dine out locally.”

“Bob's Big Brain pub quiz is the best around, very generous prizes but it's more about the presentation! Huge choice of beers and spirits which help you appreciate the wallpaper!”

“Hull's best tapas! Came here for a late booking and was impressed from start to finish by both the staff and the quality of food. The staff are very welcoming, the menu is exciting and each item comes out fresh as its ready which adds to the enjoyable experience. The basque cheesecake was beyond delicious and I can't wait to return to try it again.”

“Went out for sunday afternoon tea for a friends baby shower. The food was lovely and we were given boxes to bring home what we couldn't eat. Staff were very helpful and accommodating considering we were a large party of 18 people. Well deserved 5 stars all round.”

“Booked the function room, for a group of 25, ordered the food in advance. Was able to change anything we needed too great options for allergies and veg/vegan. Staff have been lovely, attend to us and the full pub with ease. Starters came out in a timely manner, mains took a bit longer but nothing unreasonable for our groups size, manager apologised profusely which was completely unnessiary. It was delightful and we will be back for certain”

“As wheelchair user getting in was a bit tricky, but once in the atmosphere was lively. Good music and very attentive staff. The lady that served us was brilliant, she advised a burger of the kids menu as we only wanted cake n coffee, something they have stopped doing but still advertised on menu..anyway these burgers came out with fries, omg massive, we should have shared one. Coffee excellent and the price for the burger was about £7.00 ,had about hour in the place and carried on shopping once we had put a bit energy into the body..Will be back.”

“Went with a group of friends before going to karaoke at vox box, and the staff and food were amazing. Most of us had cocktails, which were really great. They have nice and varied vegetarian options, and I especially love their Mediterranean veg pizza. Cannot recommend Level enough, especially the staff who helped to make the night so enjoyable.”

“Visited had a meal Christmas Eve. Food was amazing, staff and service great no long wait at the bar. The only thing was so cold no heating on. Had to eat in the restaurant with coats on asked for heating to be put on but time it started to warm up we had finished our meal. I think when you go to a restaurant for a meal you shouldn't have to ask for the heating to be on, should already be warm in the restaurant to eat a meal without having to sit with a winter jacket on to eat a meal.”

“The best thing to happen to Hessle. Staff are amazing, very welcoming. Food menu is amazing, as is the childrens menu. The cocktail list is endless. The atmosphere is really good, puts you in a good mood. It’s our favourite place. The events they do for children are amazing. The encanto brunch was amazing. But the one last night. Hocus pocus, was just magical, my daughter loved them both. Can’t wait to see what’s next for theses guys!!!”

“Called in for a snack. I had a bacon and mushroom sandwich, lovely thick bacon and plenty of mushrooms. My husband had bacon and egg. The bread was very fresh reasonable prices. We would certainly go more if we didn't live so far away. Very pleasant barman. Would give you more stars if I could.”

“2006 I married my wife here, and when she passed away this month Aug 2022 I knew exactly where I wanted to hold the celebration of life. Afternoon tea served with tea and coffee for all the guests. It was great with the views on to the marina and outside seating. All the staff were lovely and nothing was too much for them. Thank you Holiday Inn”
