"Utterly Disappointed with Chiassons Heating - A Tale of Incompetence and Unprofessionalism I regretfully report my extremely negative experience with Chiassons Heating. When my propane heating stove malfunctioned, I sought their expertise. The first technician visit involved basic cleaning and a misdiagnosed issue with the thermopile. Promises of a follow-up with the necessary part turned into months of silence. When they finally rescheduled, the same technician returned, apparently with no recollection of the previous visit or the identified issue, despite reminders. Shockingly, he repeated the same unnecessary cleaning process, given the stove had been unused since his last visit. This time, he changed his diagnosis entirely, contradicting his initial assessment and admitting he had no idea what he was doing previously. He now claimed the gas valve was the issue and suggested scrapping the stove due to high repair costs. This was followed by an unjustifiable attempt to charge another $175 for this redundant and ineffective service. When confronted, even the technician agreed it was unfair to charge for such unsatisfactory service. Despite this, there was no further communication or attempt at resolution from Chiassons Heating. Their service was marked by incompetence, lack of knowledge, dishonesty, and a baffling lack of common sense. This experience was not just unprofessional but also deeply frustrating. I strongly advise against using Chiassons Heating for any services."

"I can’t thank Chaisson’s enough. Rob and Mark specifically, thank you both very much. Your level of service is greatly appreciated. We just bought our first home and I had called Chaisson’s to come and inspect and clean our hot water boiler heating system. Just to make sure everything was in working order before the temperatures drop. After scheduling the initial inspection and cleaning with Rob, our heat completely stopped working in the meantime, and Rob went out of his way to get someone out to me quicker. I can’t thank Chaisson’s enough for getting us back to working order. Mark showed up and instantly went to work. He was pretty confident our late 80s system had barely ever been touched. So it was a bit of a pain for him to get into it, but he persisted and got in and got everything cleaned up and working again. I had initially wanted the thermostat replaced as well when I made the appointment. But after Mark had spent so much time messing with our furnace that was problematic I told him I didn’t want to hold him up any longer, and not to worry about it. He gladly did it anyway and told me he wanted to make sure everything was in good working order before he left. Having just bought the house, we’ve had some things that needed fixing. Which meant dealing with several large companies with call centers and employees who couldn’t care less. And issues that don’t get resolved. By the time we had the heat issue I was pretty much at my breaking point with dealing with less than stellar companies. I’m glad I called Chaisson’s because they are a breath of fresh air. Friendly, knowledgeable, and the pricing was even reasonable. You know the type of excellent service and companies people always say don’t exist anymore? That’s the type of service I received from Chaisson’s. They’re definitely our go-to moving forward. And they should be yours too."
