This place used to be great, but has increasingly gone downhill. Avoid at all costs and search for another practice."

"I called this morning to try to make a reschedule an appointment that was canceled due to Covid and the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude to me. A little background: I used this office for both of my children and had absolutely no complaints in the past. One of my children even had a complication that required bi weekly non stress tests and each time the staff was wonderful. My last visit to this office was in late 2015, and earlier this year I called to make an annual appointment. They let me know I would be a new patient since it had been so long, which is completely understandable. As I said, this appointment was canceled by Covid, which is again very understandable. I called this morning to try to reschedule the appointment and the woman on the phone told me they were not accepting new patients until January due to the backup of appointments. This is completely fine with me and I would’ve been happy to wait that long if needed. When she informed me of the January info, I replied “okay” because I was trying to think of what to ask/say next with the unexpected information. The woman on the phone completely changes her tone and asks in a very snarky manner “Is that an okay like you are going to go somewhere else or you’re going to wait?”. Now, I would again have been fine to wait and I completely understand the backlog of patients, but I don’t understand why someone that represents the office needed to speak to me the way that they did. Furthermore, she didn’t even need to know if I was going to wait because they aren’t scheduling appointments that far out. Needless to say, I will be going elsewhere."

"This is a very very busy office that for the most part is well organized and efficient. Your experience will depend on what provider you see, I had mixed experiences. Some providers were thorough, others didn't even review a history. All were clearly in a hurry. The walls are thin in some exam rooms and you can hear conversations if the other party is not speaking softly. Clinician gave me bad news before the exam room door was even shut, that's how quickly she was moving. I requested my records only to learn there was a 75 cent charge per page (even if they are faxed). This is legal of course, but poor taste since there would not be a charge if they were sent to another provider. I understand there is time spent gathering and preparing records (although much less now they are electronic) but I pay literally hundreds of dollars per visit (for less then 10 minutes with the provider) so I think they should really reconsider this policy, or offer a limited number of requests (e.g. one time free). I routinely request records from all my providers to be thorough and I've never been charged. In addition, the records I received clearly were form based, because there was an exam documented as "normal" that I never even had! These discrepancies in the records and fee for them really put a bad taste in my mouth."
