"*This review is specifically for psychiatrist Michelle Marchand, and does not reflect on any of the other staff at the New Karner Rd. location.* Michelle is the single most unprofessional individual I have ever had the displeasure of working with, I would honestly rate her 0 out of 5 stars if I could. On multiple occasions, she scheduled my son for in person visits, only for me to drive over an hour for her to tell me she had scheduled it virtually, despite me having proof of the in person scheduling. She also set up an appointment to continue my son's care, as he is on a controlled substance, and by the time the appointment came, my son's file had been closed out without my knowledge, and there was no proof of the appointment in the system despite her scheduling it over a video call with me. For lying to patients and gaslighting them as well, I believe this woman should be removed from her position, as no one deserves to be treated this way from a so called professional. Avoid this woman at all costs, if possible."

"I attended Northern Rivers through my high-school at age 16, and got out of it at age 20. It was 2 years of my one lovely therapist and 4 years of frustratingly inconsiderate and condescending treatment from a very neglectful psychiatrist. Mallory Anderson-DeBell is a very unprofessional Psychiatrist who doesn't take her patients seriously at all in any regards, medication or otherwise. You'd think that for a person that deals with mentally ill individuals on a daily basis would have more care and consideration—especially towards those that are there for help of their own fruition—but you'd be sadly mistaken once met with Mallory's astounding neglect. Her inability to take the patients concerns into account is concerning, especially when it personally took me 3 weeks to get in contact with anyone in regards to my serotonin shock symptoms. (Nothing came of it, they sent me to the ER. Weird,) Absolutely disgusting. Now I'm hearing that not even the receptionists are currently stationed to check in patients? Northern Rivers Family Services has really gone to the dogs. Do better."

"This place definitely needs to be checked out for problems throughout almost everything at this point. I am a patient coming to this place, the only real reason I don't want to leave is because I finally have an amazing therapist that I absolutely love. That is the ONLY reason I refuse to transfer. My family and I have had a lot of issues with this place besides with my therapist, who was almost my fifth one that hasn't left me like my past ones. My parents have issues connecting with appointments at the front desk and cannot even get the time THE DAY BEFORE the appointment with my MEDICATION doctor, who everyone complains about and has been rude and disrespectful on multiple occasions but still has not been fired after sending in actually complaints to the company itself. I am this close to telling my parents to get me another place, but I'd have to be forced to lose my amazing therapist first before even considering that. FIX THESE THINGS GUYS!"

"Worked here for ten years. Small satellite office. Loved working with the kids. Had some wonderful coworkers who were like family. Inexperienced supervisors. Management doesn’t care about employees. I left when my supervisor said I couldn’t take a week’s vacation when I needed to. Insurance rates became very high and there was a mass exodus as a result. I witnessed another supervisor verbally berate a staff member in front of others and management did nothing about it. This unprofessional hothead screamed at this staff member and made her cry in front of everyone. These same two supervisors would come in at 10 and leave at 2:00. Another supervisor babysits her grandkids all day during working hours. And yet another has been accused of many untoward incidents in the Endwell office but he’s still there. How they got away with that I’ll never know. Sounds like from the reviews, this place has really gone downhill. That’s a shame. There were a handful of us with good strong work ethics though."

"Staff there are nice. They can be busy but try there best to help out. There are sometimes issues on the other units and they can't help you out until the situation is better. They try there best to make an okay environment for the kids that live there. Some of the staff do get overwhelmed from either the kids or on how people call out and the supervisor asks if they can do a double shift. They also try to help the kids find copping skills so when the staff are busy the kids can use there copping skills but it doesn't always work. They have a great team when all of the team is there. They expect certain things to help the kids out."
