"I phoned for an appointment and spoke with a woman who did not identify herself. She insisted I call my insurance company to make sure I knew my copay and set up and appointment in 3 weeks (the earliest available). I arrived at the appointment 10 minutes early and after some time a woman approached me and asked if I had an appointment. I assured her I did and she handed me a clipboard with poor photo copies of forms to complete. I did so with the exception of an incomplete form which I didn’t understand. 40minutes later the woman (receptionist? Physical Therapist?) returned and reviewed my paperwork which was incomplete since I didn’t understand it. She helped me with the form and took the paperwork. While waiting I had written a check for my co-pay to the company, as the person who made my appointment told me credit cards were not accepted. Then the woman, who by now, identified herself as the physical therapist, suggested I had paid her only $40 instead of $45, and told me I needed to call the insurance company for the correct amount. I told her I’d gone online, signed into my insurance company, and assured her $40 was correct. She didn’t hear me, I guess, because she told me the person at the insurance company I spoke to might have made an error and I should call them back. At this point, put off by her lack of professionalism and argumentative nature, as well as the hour I’d now passed waiting for medical care, I asked for my prescription as well as my check back. She returned them to me. I told her I’d done my due diligence and knew what my copay was and I wanted to leave. As I left she actually said, “I don’t doubt you, but...”. (I was under the strong impression she completely doubted me.). This place is sketchy at best and I will find a more professional provider to receive care."
