"Words are inadequate to describe the level of exceptional care that I have received from Brookdale Bone and Joint. I have been a patient of Dr. Clearly since May of 2023. Mildred Rodriguez, Danielle Farmer, and Kadesha Clarke have been key players in the facilitation of my recovery at Brookdale Bone and Joint. As the "first-faces" and ambassadors of Dr. Clearly's practice, they have never ceased to be professional, caring, and conscientious in the careful handling of my patient needs. They are absolutely phenomenal and should be recognized with the highest honor! Ms. Rodriguez is a huge patient advocate and is very resourceful. Ms. Farmer has amazing customer service and is extremely proficient! Ms. Clarke is very warm and exceptionally diligent! In my numerous appointments, I have witnessed this team work together cohesively, effectively, and wholeheartedly. I have never seen a team quite like this one! "Very unprofessional staff. I came in with my 2 year old daughter and I was told the doctor will not be seeing any kids as she's the only one on staff so I asked what should I do as my baby has a urgent care issue. The lady with the purple locs said go home and call 911 so I said it's not a hospital emergency. So I asked for the doctors name who's refusing to see my baby and that's when the lady with the purple locs told me to go upstairs and see a supervisor so I told her instead of me going to and from just call the supervisor here so she did with a attitude. There was another nurse sitting there which came out and ask what was going on with my baby and I showed her. She then went to the back and begged to dr to see us. She went back to the registration area to explain to the same lady to register us because she asked the doctor. They started getting upset with the nurse who offered to assist me. This is the first place I have ever been to that refuse my child care..what if the other nurse wasn't there who offered to assist me? The lady who was registrating me was very upset to the point where she fling her glasses off her face and started typing very aggressively on the computer. This is definitely no way to treat patients. God bless that nurse who assisted me."

"In the vast world of Urgent care in NYC there are so many better choices than the Brookdale Urgent Care Center. One thing people expect from an urgent care center is expedient medical care for minor ailments that don’t quite rise to the level an emergency. This is mainly where Brookdale falls short. When I visited their facility my entire visit took 3 hours. Mind you, that’s 2 hours and 45 minutes waiting and 15 minutes with the NP who, by the way, was quite nice. The reception staff, on the other hand, is slothful and oblivious. When I first entered the center the front desk was abandoned. Rule number one: THE FRONT DESK SHOULD NEVER BE UNMANNED! When the receptionist rolled in 10 minutes later I found her to be sluggish and semi-conscious at best. She never asked me my chief complaint; nor did anyone else other than the NP, but she did ask me if my vision was impaired. I thought that this was a ridiculous question as my prescription lens where firmly affixed to my face. When I asked for clarification she replied, “I’m trying to ascertain if you’re legally blind.” WHAT?!? I will say to their credit; the facility is clean and the waiting area is fairly comfortable. Their wait times are just unacceptable as other urgent cares have far less wait times. Their front desk staff needs to be seriously retrained. Nothing is more annoying when you’re sick or in pain than to watch a group of ratchet women drink lattes and gossip about their co-workers."
