"I reached out via pet chat, a vet tech informed the vet of my senior cat’s health emergency and called me within a few hours to ask about my pet. They told me I could bring my cat in immediately. They discovered his illness which was an abscesses tooth, provided antibiotic, and explained the next course of treatment. The vet techs and veterinarians are patient, address concerns, are thorough, and professional. I've been bringing my cat here for years and I highly recommend Banfield of Newburgh, NY. A special thanks to Evelyn and Dr.Dulka."

"Had a wellness plan with these people. Recently dog wasn't feeling so well so I tried to make an appointment just to be told to take him to the emergency hospital where my wellness plan wouldn't be accepted. I tried again the next day and they said the same thing, all my dog needed was a check up and I feel they denied/refused to do so. I canceled the wellness plan and got some real pet health insurance just to take him to the hospital since banfield wouldn't see him smh..."

"We started going to Bandfield around June of this year and took our puppy of almost 3 months. We had less then 10 appointments with them. These included vaccines, check ups, grooming, etc. Every visit they would say: "she did great", "she was a trooper" and so on. With the exception of sometimes saying "she was nervous but, that's okay because she just a puppy". After a few months we moved and we decided to keep going to another Bandfield. Only to find out she was put as "aggressive". Not once did they tell us she was aggressive. She is a very friendly dog to everyone and she loves greeting people. Everytime we go to the vet or just go to petsmart she gets scared, nervous, starts shaking and crying. I have no clue how they truly treated her over there, but we are not very happy about her reactions to the store as a whole. I will not blame the whole staff, as some really seemed very nice and friendly. However, I would recommend asking more questions about your pets behavior while in their care or just not going to that Bandfield. I would think that since they are the professionals they would treat a puppy with more care and patience."
