"The best B&B I've stayed in. Peaceful with outstanding service. Decorated with loads of beautiful antiques. Comfortable beds, and Comfy seating everywhere. The fire pit was nice with the bottle of Jameson I brought, and the mosquitos appreciated my company(bring repellent if it's during their season). The river was soothing, joined with the crackle of the fire. The breakfast? Gourmet. The owner knows what she's doing. Reily made things even more homey, even if he charged a breakfast tax. Well worth the money, and will visit again soon. Kudos!"
"We ended staying here accidentally because we thought it was on the bicycle route of the Erie Canal. It was about 12 miles off our track but we had a wonderful stay. The owners were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. The historic mansion is amazing and the rooms are very nice! Rebecca and her husband were so nice and their golden retriever was my favorite!! Highly recommend!"
"Absolute awesome stay. John and Rebecca are the most amazing hosts. They are friendly, helpful and very nice and their property has everything. Great food, scenic views of the water and a peaceful atmosphere. We couldn’t find a place in Syracuse with the fair but they took us last minute and it was the best stay we could have. So thankful to find this place! We’ll be back!"
"The River Edge Mansion is absolutely lovely, and John and Rebecca have done a wonderful job restoring it. We had a very relaxing and memorable stay. The room was quiet and extremely comfortable, and we absolutely loved the delicious breakfasts Rebecca created. Both hosts were welcoming and helpful! "This is the second time my husband & I have stayed here & we will certainly be back the next time we want to go to Syracuse, which I hope is soon so I can stay here again! The house is beautiful, the hosts are lovely & amiable people who bent over backwards to make sure we were comfy. The breakfast was phenomenal. I was particularly fond of a communal living room with a huge TV & the most comfortable couch I've ever laid on in my life. And, to boot, we got to make friends with a beautiful golden retriever named Riley, who was a very good boy our entire stay. Cannot recommend highly enough. Beautiful place."
