"Have had great experiences at SEE on Bedford. I recently got my prescription here and purchased a new pair of glasses that I absolutely love and continuously get compliments on. I got transitional lenses put in my new glasses and when I got them there was a little blemish with the bevel around the edge. I brought them back and Matt the manager was super helpful, professional and fixed the issue. I was really happy with the awesome customer service here so I got a few other things done. I replaced lenses on another set of frames with my new prescription and also brought in a pair of Goodr running glasses and replaced those lenses too. Matt was great to work with and now I got 3 pairs of solid glasses from SEE that I’m super happy with. Cheers!"

"So rude for no reason. Got my prescription filled here, and within a week of wear a strange circular scratch-like pattern appeared on the left lens, completely obscuring my vision. I’ve worn glasses for 20+ years, always keep them in their case and only clean them with the cleaning solution and cloths purchased from opticians, and never had anything like this happen. Took them back in for repair and the man who had initially helped me said they would replace the lenses for free (they get one star for that) but not without condescendingly lecturing me about how they would only do this “just this once.” He did not apologise, instead he really made sure to let me know that this wasn’t their fault, it was somehow mine (again, in 20 years of wearing glasses this has never happened to me) and that he was very suspicious but he would do me the favor of replacing them. I was gracious and thanked him and just thought it was strange to go through that whole speech when he was going to replace the lenses for free anyway. When I returned in a week or so to pick them up, the same man went on the SAME RANT, giving me bizarre warnings— “fool me once shame on you” (as if I plan on needing my lenses replaced fortnightly) and reminding me that he knew more about glasses than I did. Again, I was polite and not at all accusatory, I just stood there and let him lecture me again, thanked him and left. I decided to do some research and lo and behold, the issue with my left lens is called CRAZING and is caused by the IMPROPER APPLICATION OF ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATING. This confirmed it was their fault, and either he was unaware of this common issue or knew exactly what it was but just wanted to go on two weird defensive tirades. TLDR: there was a manufacturing error that they reluctantly corrected for me but not without lecturing me twice about how it was my fault, not theirs."

I authentically like the energy of this store and the selections. I would definitely to this store; but I would really like if they open a store in Forest Hills. Thanks again!"
