As a part of the Calverton National Cemetery, Section 30 honors the legacy and sacrifices of nearly 10 million veterans. Our serene grounds offer a place of reflection and tribute to those who served the nation with valor. At Section 30, we are committed to preserving the memories of veterans through our digital platform, VLM (Veterans Legacy Memorial). This interactive feature enables families and loved ones to post tributes, upload images, and share detailed timelines of military service and achievements, along with biographical information and historical documents.

Welcome to Calverton National Cemetery, a place of honor and remembrance located in Wading River, New York. As one of the largest national cemeteries in the United States, Calverton serves as a resting place for those who have served our nation with distinction. Established in 1978 on a 902-acre tract of land, the cemetery was created to meet the needs of the greater New York area, home to nearly three million veterans and their families. Calverton National Cemetery offers a serene and respectful environment for families to honor their loved ones. The cemetery accommodates casketed burials, in-ground interment of cremains, and placement in columbaria. An ossuary is also available for those who choose this option. The Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) digital platform allows families and friends to share tributes, photos, and stories, preserving the legacy of nearly 10 million veterans.
