"Great security door but horrible installation!!! My initial experience with the sales representative was great, as he was very knowledgeable about the product and offered helpful advice to make the best purchase of a security door for my home. His knowledge and expertise in the industry was very impressive. He took the time to share with us the difference between the big box store doors and how they are manufactured versus their doors. His 25 years of industry experience was very helpful. I appreciated that he was not a pushy salesman. So, we decided on a security door for installation while also planning for future work to be done for two additional doors to be installed in the spring of 2022. However, the install was less than stellar, as the pictures indicate. When I questioned the workmanship, the installer said to me that he would have charged me $150 extra to replace the “rotten wood”. Do you see rotten wood in my pictures? I don’t. He did not stop work and communicate that the installation encountered issues instead he proceeded without authorization to cut apart the existing framing as he saw fit, and complete the installation. When these pictures were presented to Kevin, the sales representative, via his cellphone, he sent the installer back to our home. Tony, the installer, put back a piece of wood that he originally cut out and proceeded to screw it back in while splitting the wood. Look at the pictures. A professional would have used finishing nails. I called Kevin at 4:04pm the same day. Unfortunately, the friendly and helpful sales representative was no longer professional. He insulted me saying, “YOU PEOPLE are never satisfied!” I asked him what he meant by his statement, “YOU PEOPLE”, and he proceeded to become more irate and yelled that he would never sell me another door! He had no problem taking “YOU PEOPLE “ cash! Big box stores aren’t so bad after all!"
