"Clean! Sheets, cabinet, microwave, medium size fridge (better than the usual mini fridges), bathroom, shower are all clean. It smelled super fresh when we entered our room. Staff is friendly and there are extra blankets in the room. Staff is very welcoming and pool is cleaned daily. That was the first time I swim in a "inn" pool in like 20 yrs. Definitely recommend and we will be booking here every time we visit Wildwood (which we do on a yearly basis)."
"We booked this room for one night to have a place to rest traveling home from Boston Children's Hospital. I had been looking forward to a dip in the pool all day. Upon arriving I noticed the pool was covered in a film of hair, trash and what appeared to be skin. It was disgusting to say the least. The next disappointment was the curtains in the room. The exterior lights were so bright it was like sleeping in the day time. See attached photos. The only upsides were the bigger than average mini fridge and the updated shower. Linens and towels were stained. The floor was absolutely filthy and the stress from being charged an extra $100-200 for trash being in the wrong can despite not being labeled is a joke. WiFi does not work. Dirty ashtrays outside your door, they don't even bother cleaning them. Not everyone smokes. It smells awful. Parking is ridiculous and the spots are so tiny and they don't enforce those who take up two spots. TV remote did not work. The owners wife is obviously racist which is crazy when you're AN INDIAN IN AMERICA. The surprise $200 hold was really rude. I wanted to try a yummy local restaurant but had to order dominos instead."
"Don’t recommend unless you’re absolutely that desperate. My bf and I decided to take a weekend trip we thought this place looked decent and nice. When we went to check in the lady at the front desk looked like she just rolled out of bed literally. They require a 200$ security deposit which is stupid. The room was dirty. The shower and bathroom was disgusting I wore flip flops in the shower, there was clumps of soap from previous people. Second night we stayed we had people above us running and stomping around till 3 am. Parking is tight. Probably won’t stay here again."
"Where to start? The room was clean. It had a great scent and it felt very clean. It did however have some ants in the bathroom. It was a little annoying but It didn’t bother us as the room was quite spotless. Good job to the cleaner! It had a few cosmetic issues like the night stand not even being properly put together- it slides all over on top of it self. The tv power button it not work. There was not “pool with view” unless you count the view of the motel and broken decor? There were not “bathrobes” - not that i would have used one. There was no “private entrance”. It’s about a 7 mins walk to the beach and then an additional 10 from board walk to beach. It’s sounds not too bad, but it’s very very exhausting, even for us in our early 20s. I feel the price of the rooms should be lowered as it competes with places that are much closer to the action and that are less exhausting to walk to and from. So the room was clean, there were some ants, there were no blankets at all, just bed sheets. But like i said, they were clean. there is ONE SINGLE swimming pool that was clean. listed are two. However, the woman/ owner at the front desk has 0 people skills and is hardly accommodating. Every conversation felt full of tension and is if i had to defend myself. She made us feel unwelcomed and couldn’t even simply greet us. She also made us pay a surprise $200 on hold- as well as other guests. This is totttaly rude. What if that was someone’s only vacation spending money- or a large chunk of it? Luckily, it wasn’t much of a hassle to us and it was infact refunded, but it should have been stated somewhere. Also, they have 1 cleaner on daily it seems. Do not expect to check in a single moment prior to 4pm. There’s not a chance in the world it will happen so plan accordingly. After we were checked in, we had a fine stay aside from the exhausting haul to the beach, which isn’t the motel’s fault, just a beware from me! Overal, the stay was decent. The owner was not entirely welcoming and made us a little on edge for the chunk of change we paid to be there. One more thing! It’s on a very noisy street next to a pretty active facility. There was a couple outside acting out for 3 of our 4 nights. While there was no view at all from the motel, that kept us occupied!!!"
"When we first walked into this motel it seemed like a nice decent place to stay for it being a motel, when we were laying in the bed though we smelt this horrible scent and couldn’t figure out what it was for hours. When we were getting ready for bed it got so much worse and we lift up the sheets and found vomit on the mattress cover and vomit on our pull out couch, from the start the lady was not very nice at the front desk. They never cleaned our room just made the bed. We had no toilet paper, they didn’t set towels out nicely like they were in the rooms the lady never came to clean our room, even though she said she would. Two men offered us new sheets after we complained but we’re trying to have us put them on ourselves and didn’t understand it was the mattress and the mattress cover. Then we asked to change rooms which we got to do. When we went out for the night they called us on the phone and asked US for a plunger they should have them on hand or in the every room in case needed. When we got back to our room after being out our key wouldn’t work it was 10:02 the lady at the front desk complained and said they are only opened until 10:00 and that we shouldn’t be calling even though we were locked out of our new room that we got. once the guy came up to help it was fine. then when we were leaving they were trying to blame us and say that maybe its basically our fault and that it was our stuff that smelt but it was not. I recommend to not waste your money here."
