"Beat up and super dirty motel and employees! The deck floor was broken and a liability. They had broken chairs and garbage all over the deck like if no one has been up there in days. The pool water was murky. The bathroom smelled like mold and while there saw an argument with management and other customer about bed bugs. The security guard that sits downstairs by the grill is rude. I asked them for a broom and mop to clean the room so I COULD DO IT and he said he couldn’t cause it’s a liability and couldn’t send anyone to clean cause everyone has left. But it was 3pm"

"So I booked a room for 7/24/23-7/26/23. I paid the the deposit on 7/3/23 When we arrived, I showed Nick at the front desk proof I paid. I said I'd like to pay the balance. With that he swiped my card 6x. And drained my bank account of every penny. When I checked my account and seen what he did I panicked. I was stuck in Wildwood with my twin 16yr old boys for 3 days no food or money to enjoy activities. I brought this to the front desk person Mookie who said nothing he could do. He couldn't give me utensils to cook (I needed to give them $40 cash to borrow the utensils that previously were free) the raw meat I brought there and he wouldn't refund me cash even though it was their fault 100%. I'm a diabetic with lots of health issues with two teen boys. My prepaid ride was already booked to pick us up on Wednesday morning. So we were stuck. We sat in our room until 7/26 with nothing at all to eat or drink and the water from the faucet is worse than Philly water. I told them I'm a diabetic I couldn't wait days to eat physically. After calling the police Mookie finally agreed to refund my money to my bank account that would take 3-5 business days to hit my account lol I'm back in Philly now, still no money back on my card. Please this isn't the only horror story, by me talking about the situation with others I found out this is an innocent mistake. This is how they do business. I've already filed a complain with the New Jersey attorney general office. I suggest anyone that has a similar experience to do the same. I think I should be refunded for the whole amount I paid as we didn't vacation we sat and waited to be picked up and hoped that my health didn't take a turn for the worst. It's absolutely disgusting how we were treated. Their mistake totally and let us sit and starve. Didn't even offer us water. I know business is business, but when greed outweighs human compassion You're doing it wrong! Also the shower sprayed everywhere which caused another safety risk, the windows in room 301 have no locks and someone can easily open them from outside and gain access to your belongings while you're on the beach or boardwalk. Beware! The staff are shady and unethical. When I asked for Nick to be contacted Mookie said he didn't have a cellphone when I asked to speak to the owner Mookie said he didn't have a number either. Tell me one person you know in 2023 that doesn't have a cellphone or contact number. Just liars and thieves. Spare your family's well being and go elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money at this dump! By the way the whole island is full of Norf Philly trash. Go to Ocean city. The animals have access to the beaches and it's disgusting as well!"

"To make things worse once they took our money they refused to give us a refund forcing us to stay here which isn’t even worth the price that we paid with the money spent you can get a really nice place nearby with a amazing view. The room that we had was SO bad that the sink barely work it was on its last leg it looked like someone punched it broke it and they didn’t do anything about it to make things worse the door can easily be locked picked and robbed"

"We had reserved this place in-advance for 3 nights. We had proof of reservation too. We got down there during the blackout. A transformer blew up, and Wildwood was without power for two days, and we got there on day 1 of it. Even though we had proof of reservation, the staff refused to let us in a room, and refused to do anything at all to help. The people working their front desk were unprofessional, rude, and not accomodating at all. We asked them to call a manager or the owner and they refused. The owner should be ashamed of themselves for not being accessible, or physically there for their business, during a crisis situation. They left careless, unqualified staff in charge of the place. The motel was over- run with loud, drunk and high people throwing fireworks around, those are the "guests" who stay at this place. I'm sure its horrible even when the power is on, due to the lack of customer service and hospitality."
