"If I could rate them over 5 stars I would! Management and maintenance were so accommodating and helpful, I’m so glad we chose Sand Box to stay for our trip. Rates are affordable, the rooms are well kept and clean, and the staff are fantastic."

"We stay here two years ago and love it. Our dog Heidi love it more. Heidi met new doggie friends and got a lot of pets too. She was able to stay in the AC and watch us if she wanted to. We enjoyed the pool and Hot tub. If we were able, we would come every year. We're coming back this year. Enjoy the time, staff and looking for it soon."

"Nice for what it is, a retro motel. The service was great, facilities clean. If you manage your expectations and can live with dated decor and small rooms, this is a charmer. The paint, tile, and room fixtures, door locks, were updated, the bedding and linens new and clean, bathroom spotless. But, the room is noisy with light sneaking in around the lightweight window treatments, the bathroom is tiny, true to the retro styling ."

"Had an amazing vacation here. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment and a room. Both were spacious, clean with all amenities. They provided natural gas grills to cookout on. The apartments kitchen was stocked with glasses coffee cups, coffee pot, full size range, microwave full size refrigerator. Dining room table and chairs. Full size couch that pulled out into another bed. Jacuzzi spa tub in barroom. Big TVs in every room. Plenty of closet space with hangers, dressers to put your clothes in. Anytime we needed anything at all they were quick to make us comfortable and give us the best experience while we were there. Heated pool and hot tub were so nice to be able to use it anytime til 10pm. And the best part for us was they're pet friendly. For an additional fee you dont have to board your pet while on vacation. You can take your best friend with you. They provided bags for picking up after your dogs they also have a station with pet tub to wash your best friend. Very close to the beach and boardwalks. We had a really great time there. The staff were amazing and very kind. Shiv the owner was a gracious host and we cannot wait to spend our vacation again there next year. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay 5 stars!"

"We usually stay at my grandparents shore house. However, decided to stay elsewhere this time for a last minute trip to the shore. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The room was clean and there was ample room. The pool/ jacuzzi area was well maintained. You can tell the owner takes pride in the property and the customer experience. Overall, we had a great stay. We would stay again and recommend the property to our friends/family."
