"First and only Black Owned brewery in KC! More importantly, it was really good with tasty beers, wide range of styles, and the staff were all engaging, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They have board games to play, good areas to sit and chat. The location is in one of the old Castle style Stone buildings on Vine. Food can be gotten from The Spot which shares an entrance. We did not eat, but menu looked good. My friends and I will be back."
"I have been to just about every Brewery in KC and this one was on my list. I was very surprised at just how well the Brewery was put together. Beautiful artwork all over and a very good vibe. I would rate this brewery in the top 3 for aesthetics with 3 Trails and City Barrel. For the beer, I really enjoyed every beer I had and they had a nice variety. I had no idea how large this brewery really was until I stepped in. They have both an upstairs and downstairs with a bar at each and the building is beautiful. They also have a nice patio outside if that is what you prefer. I had the chance to meet one of the owners and they were very kind and welcoming along with the bartenders. I will be back here for sure!"
"Awesome! Great beers in a very cool space near 18th and Vine district in KC. The beer is worth the hype, and you can order food from the next door cafe. But for now the drinks are the main event. Get a flight for a little under $10 and try 4 of their awesome beers while enjoying the sunshine and groovy jams. They have some games available, and we saw kids who brought a ball playing around in the green space behind the beer garden patio. My husband and I found the staff to be attentive, knowledgeable and helpful about what to try. I loved the Maris and Dubs. We will definitely be back!"
