"Don’t rent here! It looks nice in the photos and on their website but the apartment was filthy when I moved in and I spent two days cleaning and scrubbing everything. Also part of my flooring wasn’t installed and my sliding door wasn’t installed properly so it doesn’t lock. I’ve lived here for 10 months now and it still hasn’t been fixed while I’m paying to live here.. also, there hasn’t been a manager in months on the property so no phone calls get answered. Whoever the manager was before did not keep track of records at all either, I sent my renters insurance to them 4 times and they still claim I don’t have any and have been charging me monthly for insurance when actually they just haven’t filed it properly, so now I have been trying to get ahold of my renters Ins and I can’t because I’m on hold for an hour. It’s a mess to say the least! Save yourself the stress and don’t lease here!"

"Edit to add that I'm still here and happy. In 2022 they resurfaced the parking lots. The apartments are small, but really nice. I have a 2/2 with laundry hookups in the unit, which is surprisingly hard to find in Springfield. On top of that, Wooten is investing in the property. This year they installed a new roof on all of the buildings in the complex and they're working on resurfacing the pool now. I would definitely recommend the Field to young professionals and students in the Springfield area."

"I have enjoyed living at the Field and don’t have any significant complaints. I’ve only had a couple of minor maintenance issues but the property manager and maintenance team quickly resolved them! I feel safe in this apartment as a female living alone, which is my main priority. The gym is nice and they just renovated the pool area this past summer."

"I am a current resident of The Field Apartments and have been a resident since before the name change from Strawberry Fields, the transition to the Wooten Company, and all of the remodels. I definitely enjoyed living here before the changes, but there is no denying that this residence has drastically improved for the better in the last year. It was frustrating during the beginning of the transition when remodeling was going on and there wasn't a full time manager, but things have settled down now, and the new manager is very helpful and attentive. The apartment remodels are a beautiful improvement. I personally love the openness of the living room and the new kitchen layout. I have also been pleased with the addition of parcel lockers next to the mailboxes. I don't have to worry about my packages being stolen outside my door or worry about rushing home before the office closes to get a package. The remodeled laundry room looks great and now requires a key, so it can be accessed at any time. If I need any maintenance done, they are also very prompt with sending someone to take care of it, now that there is new management. The area is a convenient spot to live in, with easy access to businesses and major streets, while still being offset enough from the commotion to have to worry about much noise. Overall, I am pleased with the changes that have been made and enjoy living here."
