"Have stayed here before and really enjoyed it.. reserved a king room over a month ago and it was confirmed by email yesterday.. at check in I was told our room was now 2 double beds.. would not allow me to get a king room.. was told it was pet policy.. I pointed out that I told them about the pet when I made the reservation.. had I known I would be stuck on a double bed I would not have made the reservation.. only option I was given was to cancel my reservation and go find another room after I had already checked in and paid… very disappointed and I won’t be back on my next trip to Springfield in 2 weeks.. UPDATE the manager called me this morning and was very apologetic about this and offered to make it right.. I told her the sincere apology was enough for me and we would give this motel another chance in the future… it really is a nice motel and obviously the manager cares about how it is run.. I’ll change my review to 5 Stars!"

"Tracy is a godsend. Love her. Thanks for making me feel comfy. Just want to add - every staff member I met here was incredible. Like so incredible that I plan on sending them a thank you gift in the mail as soon as I get home in a few weeks. I was having a weird experience on the road and the folks at the desk went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. Like, they even texted me twice after I left to make sure I was okay. These folks are so real and were so, so good to my daughter and me. I would not hesitate to stay here any and every time I'm ever in town again. You will not be disappointed. Yes, the facilities themselves are clean, comfortable, and very nostalgic, but I firmly believe that it's the people who make a place... and these are damn good people."

"Easy to find while traveling late. Seemed safe. Dog friendly. Clean. It isn't fancy or new however it was clean didn't smell weird and we got sleep to keep moving west. Yummy enough breakfast."

"We stayed 5 days visiting family. We loved the room, free breakfast, location was awesome, and they allow dogs to stay there. Great restaurants and shopping nearby too. Retro decor, vintage cars, gas pumps, even a phone booth from London too! We highly recommend this motel."
