“Walking in not knowing where to start, all I knew is I wanted to ride a bike. This was less than a week ago. After wondering around for a couple of minutes I was approached by staff and within 5 minutes purchased 2 bikes. This is a far cry from last year when bikes were almost all sold out in Bendigo due to the pandemic. Yesterday I was able to pick up the 2 bikes and ride home as a family. Just before we rode off, the brakes were checked, seats adjusted and drink bottle holders assembled. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I’ll be back again for our next purchase.”

“Each and every team member I have met there have been lovely. They always try their best to help you and if they cannot answer your question they find someone who can. They give you their honest option on products based on theirs and costumers experiences, which is extremely helpful. The excellent team has to be attributed to their lovely manger. She sorted out a cat seat issue for us which was the manufacturers issue. She went above and beyond organising for it to be profprofessionally fitted for us. Her genuine kindness and desire for a good customer experience was apparent and certainly comes through in the team she leads.”

“How's this for service? Phoned this morning looking for a compass and had some awesome help from Bryce. Not only did Bryce check for stock levels while asking the team if there was other variations out the back - Bryce was kind enough to send me a couple of photos of what he had in stock. That was my first time there and it will be my new favourite - beats going to the larger chain stores who can't wait to tell you just to come in and have a look. “I really love this opshop, it's a hidden gem and has such a large selection of goodies, good condition furniture and clothing, shoes, linen and kids stuff. Two staff today were so lovely and forgiving when my young son accidentally broke something. They checked to see if he was ok as the most important thing and that meant a lot to me. I am not from the area but I always love to come here when I am in Bendigo!”

“Great store with really friendly staff. I was looking for a shirt for summer hiking, and tried the both the SUN-Stopper button up shirt, and the SUN-Stopper Hooded top. Both seem good, but the Hooded top was lighter feeling, more comfortable, and cheaper, so that's what I went with.”

I had some technical challenges which he resolved quickly with a smile behind his mask. He then jigged my order to enable it to be printed there and then. Exceptional service. “I bought a record player here (I know old school) and made the mistake of not talking to an expert there. Therefore I just bought the cheapest and surprise surprise it was rubbish. Took it back and this time talked to someone who knew what they were talking about. He really explained the pros and cons of each model and really helped me make the right choice. I strongly advise asking to speak to someone who is knowledgeable about the device you are looking for. Worth asking what the best price is too as sometimes there us leeway. No hassle in making the exchange. No pressure to buy the most expensive. Just genuine guidance. Got it home and it sounds incredible. Great experience.”
