“Dumplings were so amazing - both gluten-free and non gluten-free. The xiaolongbao soup was perfect and the wrapping thickness was also just right. The pork in the pan fried pork dumplings were also really delicious. The gluten free dumplings were probably one of the best GF dumplings I've ever tried, and from short conversations, the staff seemed like they really cared and are very careful about cross-contamination -which was really good to see. They were out of the pork GF dumpling which was a shame but I think it's definitely worth another trip back here. Plus they have frozen GF dumplings for sale so we can finally stock up on proper meat dumplings and not the subpar supermarket ones. But most importantly - THE SATAY. Best satay i've ever tried tbh. It was phenomenal. Not sure why others commented on bad service or the cleanliness but I had a different experience - the lady taking my order was very friendly, and the place is as clean as a common diner or any chinese place in the city. The only complaint I have is that it's not located in the CBD for me to access it a lot easier. All in all, i'd highly recommend this place :)”

“Grace and I love Sakana. It is inexpensive and good quality. My favourites are the Japanese pancakes and the spring rolls. From memory, together these cost around $5:00 and are filling. They do have more variety than that though. We've usually popped in for a quick bite when in a hurry, so we've only had a chance to try out a few of the other menu items. So far, in over a half dozen visits, we've been impressed every time.”
