“The food is always great here. I recently ordered the green eggs. As we all know, there are a million cafes in Melbourne that do brunch, and they all have slight variations on the same brunch options, to try to stand out from the crowd. But this place legitimately gets more creative with their dishes and their flavours, and it works really well! Delicious food, reasonable prices, very filling. Don't be fooled by the drab entrance and inside area. Walk through to the courtyard, and it's absolutely gorgeous.”

“Ordered a lot of pizza recently from the store and it was delivered fresh and hot and couldn't ask for better service. The pizzas were all labelled as well allowing us to easily distribute and hand out the pizzas to people with dietary requirements. The pizza tasted absolutely delicious with the toppings well spread out evenly and not too empowering.”

“I've never dined in here, but ordered from here a LOT through delivery services. Their food is sooooo good. They have the most beautiful Salmon Tataki, which comes with a heavenly wasabi dipping sauce (which I could never tire of) and really good Tempura Salmon hand rolls. Their Chicken Fried Rice is great, tasty and moist (sorry), and basically anything I've ever ordered is always fresh and delicious. I do think it's a teeny, teeny bit pricey, but justifiable seeing as everything is so good and fresh. I definitely recommened them.”

“The coffees here are great. The Pour Over (Geisha Cerro Azul) was aromatic, sweet and well balanced - a little pricey, but really good. The Espresso was also wonderful and well balanced. Their Mexican Hot Chocolate was one of the best I've tasted - rich and sweet (but not too sweet!). We also ordered a Pistachio Rose Drop which tasted nice. It was sweet and nutty. We didn't order any main meals this time, but looking at the tables beside us, the serving sizes were really big! They also looked really good (especially the waffles), so I will have to come again to give the main meals a try. The cafe had a nice ambiance and the staff were super friendly and lovely. There is also a little area in their cafe selling local products such as coffee beans, hot chocolate powder, candles, etc.”

This might not be the best place for authentic Chinese food, but it's a great place to grab Australian Chinese dishes, which are getting harder to find. My top pick was the sweet and sour chicken - it was packed with flavour. My husband, who is Chinese, loved the lemon chicken - sauce was added right at the end to preserve the texture. There were lots of vegetables in the fish and beef with black bean dishes, which was a huge plus. We'd both be back for sure.”

It's so pretty inside and the food was just lovely. Great menu. The only downside is that it's pricey and that would mean I wouldn't visit as often as I would like. It's unfortunate the place is probably overlooked because of its location as it would likely otherwise be a very popular spot, though saying that I went on a Thursday night and they did seem busy enough inside.
