“Hastings Seafood Fish and Chippery is in the main shopping strip in the small town of Hastings on Westernport Bay. Friendly prompt service and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the family pack, $29, which would easily feed 5 -6 hungry adults. Pickled onions were delicious and crispy, generously sized for $1, and the Tartare sauce was also delicious. Flake was excellent with a beautiful light crispy batter, freshly cooked, golden crispy chips, some of the best potatoes Cakes I've ever had. Fried dimmies were only OK, a little dry, but still tasty. Overall REALLY excellent fish and chips and very well priced with quick, friendly service. Nearby Frank Smith Park is a great place to enjoy the bounty on a fine day. Surprisingly not a single annoying Seagull trying to nick our food! Highly recommended!!!”

“Cozy restaurant,beautiful view in the heart of Hasting. Friendly staff, clean environment & tidy. Perfect place to hang out or celebrate birthday etc & sharing food with family and friends. Barbeque is the best! Love the variety of the meat that they cook on the table. My go menu's are set menu of chef selection, traditional or variety set that we can try authentic Korean dish with tasty flavours. With set menu we can try some dished with beautiful flavors. Delicious! Always comeback to taste more different dish. Drink available to choose from beers, wine and Korean rice wine called "soju". Car park space available, you dont have to worry.”

“Tried out the new burger shop in Hastings. Prices were standard burger shop prices, $10 - $15 per burger. The kids burger is quite big for a kids meal which is good for all ages. The burgers were nice, staff were friendly. Will definitely go back again. We got a beef burger, chicken burger and loaded fries all of which were good.”

“Very friendly staff and great tasting food. As soon as you walk into Pitstop Cafe, you're immersed which such a nice atmosphere. The "art" on the walls give it a very old-fashioned vibe which plays very well. The prices are what you would expect from a standard cafe and this is definitely a cafe worth checking out.”

“This is the most consistent pizza in the area. Not had a bad one yet and I order most fridays. They deliver when they say their gonna deliver and it’s always lovely and hot. People on the phone are always helpful and patient an so are their drivers. Always recommend them to other people.”

“We had bruised beans and eggs on toast. First of all, both came with two eggs, not one! Secondly, the eggs were very delicious and were nicely poached. I guess this cafe is the best in the area. The woman who took our order was so nice and so helpful.”

“Ordered a hsp tonight and I can always trust a hsp from here to hit the spot. Usually the chips are always really good but tonight the chips were even better than I remembered. Somehow the food keeps getting better over time but tonight was just so good I had to leave a review. Cheers guys, don't change the hsp's. they don't need to be any more perfect than they already are.”

“I had my wedding reception in the function room. Elisha was super helpful and organised everything with the little prompts I gave her. She organised for 40 guests. The food is incredible. We had braised beef, Dutch carrots, arancini, gnocchi and a few more dishes, and every single thing that came out from the kitchen was to die for. The guests were very vocal about how delicious the food was. Elisha was able to use a Spotify playlist to connect to the speakers. The dancefloor is the perfect size for the space, and the bar was the perfect edition. Elisha helped make contact with our florist, which allowed for the table greenery to be organised. The night couldn't have been more perfect thanks to Elisha and her husband.”

“Loved this place. Very roomy cabin and spotless. The fact I could have my furbaby with me was a great help. Had everything one needed inside. Didnt use it, but noticed there was a great laundry facility barbecues, and a communial room with open fire. Was worried it might be noisy, but to my delight found i had two nights of peaceful sleep. I will definitely book here again.”
