“Relaxed casual atmosphere with delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Only slight gripe is they are so authentic they don’t make any lattes, but small matter and staff were very polite and friendly about it. Gave us the right amount of time to select our dishes without being pushy. Would definitely return!”

“Never heard of this place until a friend of my partner’s recommended it to us. Quietly tucked away downstairs, you feel like you’ve escaped to Italy upon arrival. We loved the crowd and we loved the food. Beautiful flavours and generous servings. It didn’t just live up to the hype, it exceeded it. This is definitely one of Melbourne’s best hidden gems.”

Staff was so lovely, our food arrived very quickly and I wish there were more than 5 stars that I could rate this. Highly recommend. My new favourite restaurant!! (We ordered an espresso martini, glass of Shiraz, Paloma cocktail, cacio e pepe, and calzone - all ended up being $103 which is very affordable compared to sydney!)”

“We had a delicious meal here at Aperitivo Bar. We ordered the mushroom melt and the pork panini which were both full of such flavor. The mushroom melt was so perfectly cooked. We had some delicious coffees. The Tiramisu coffee was an absolute standout for us, so so delish. Lastly (and most importantly) their dessert. We had the berry meringue dish which honestly was one of the best foods we have ever eaten. Highly recommend. Food and service was great.”

“Rustic Italian pizzeria with excellent service. Cosy with good seats. Pizza was perfectly done, generous fresh toppings (we got the Special - Family size). 3 sizes available with 2-inch difference between each. Price wise, a bargain for the quality of pizzas. “I've never dined in here, but ordered from here a LOT through delivery services. Their food is sooooo good. They have the most beautiful Salmon Tataki, which comes with a heavenly wasabi dipping sauce (which I could never tire of) and really good Tempura Salmon hand rolls. Their Chicken Fried Rice is great, tasty and moist (sorry), and basically anything I've ever ordered is always fresh and delicious. I do think it's a teeny, teeny bit pricey, but justifiable seeing as everything is so good and fresh. I definitely recommened them.”

The serving sizes seemed just right and I enjoyed the woody, warm atmosphere. Highly recommend their tagliatelle ragu, zucchini flowers and calamari fritti dishes. Perfect for a romantic dinner date or a special dinner with family and friends.”

“Awesome little gem, pizza and pasta went down a treat. 2 happy adults and 3 well fed kids. Restaurant with bags of character and friendly staff that make you feel comfortable. My lasagne was delicious and served up rustic. The kids demolished the margarita pizza which was full of flavour. Tiramisu was divine. Would recommend and looking forward to round 2.”
