“Typically not a pizza lover, I went to Fired Up Pizza on the recommendation of my daughter and her fiancé and was completely BLOWN AWAY. Everything we ordered were AMAZING. We had the Porciutto, Gamberetti, Fired Up Pizza Special and theIr special for the day that had lobster and shrimp on it (sorry, I didn’t catch the name!). This pizza joint hat serves authentic Neapolitan style wood fired pizza from a humble tent has converted me into a pizza lover in this one meal. Unfortunately, I won’t get to have this in my home country. If I was Melbourne based, I will keep this restaurant on my regular rotation, for sure. Bravo!”

“Oh my goodness what a wonderful time we had at Romo! We were looking to book for dinner last minute to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and managed to get a booking. The wait staff were so kind and welcoming, the pizza was out of this world delicious, the pasta was the best I’ve ever had and even the salad was delicious! I can’t recommend eating at Romo enough, the staff went out of their way to make us feel special and the food is fresh and true perfection. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked in again! Thank you for a delicious and special meal! :)”

“Tamago is a petite shop run by family, mostly for takeaways. Some 20 varieties of sushi rolls and a dozen rice bowls to choose from. Tables for 10 persons are available for sit-in. To avoid crowds, come before noon. We had lunch around 12:30 yesterday, for the 30 minutes we were there, we observed a continuous flowing queue of 8 to 10 customers, patiently waiting. From their greetings with the shop owner, substantially all are old customers. The long queue was still there when we left. The food is great, raw fish is fresh, miso soup is a must. Price is reasonable. Plenty of street parking. Highly recommended.”

“We ordered off Uber Eats. One of our pizzas was missing upon delivery. When I called Doey’s they were so helpful and accommodating. They had no hesitation to offer to make the pizza straight away and deliver it themselves. They did so and it was delicious and still hot. We really appreciated their understanding and service.”

The sauce was seasoned well - the toppings were generous, but not overpowering. Dirk’s highlight was the special salami pizza. Salami, Olives and Cheese. Delcious. But wait, there’s more! With the first bite I felt there was something dancing on my tongue just nice, it was honey! What? How. Who thinks of that? Simply genius. Thank you Leonardo.”

“Love a good Toastie? Then this is your go to place if you live or visit South Melbourne/Albert Park. So many different choices and they are always packed full of ingredients. Seats inside and outside for convenience. Such a friendly team and definitely a place to visit.”

“This was the best pizza place I've ever been to. I'm gluten free, dairy free and a whole lot of other things free due to allergies and I have never had so much choice and have felt so safe eating out. The staff were attentive and lovely to our group, double checking to make sure our order was correct. The gluten free pizza base was perfect, easily mistakable for actual gluten. It was so soft, thin and tasty. The vegan cheeses, vegan chicken and dairy free ice cream were also practically impossible to tell that they were vegan. I am so incredibly happy I found this place, thank you so much for doing what you do. Definitely will be back :)”

“Excellent Pizza and Friendly Staff/Owners. But Tonight,I got 2 pizzas. One looked like a Del Mondo Pizza. My Mexica Pizza was thin, messy and looked like when it was going in the oven. Whoever put it in hit the top of my pizza and still put it in a pizza box and handed it to me. I have noticed a few new workers making the pizza And wish it was back to The Original Pizza Makers. No Complaints For Them.”
