I had some technical challenges which he resolved quickly with a smile behind his mask. He then jigged my order to enable it to be printed there and then. Exceptional service. Next, off to the service counter to return a item. Again, outstanding service by the young man there. Sorry I didn’t catch your name. He not only processed my return, but processed some new purchases meaning I missed the line up at the front. The staff are all working so hard and they are doing a great job. Congratulations boys. You made my visit seamless. Thanks.”

“A store that has everything. Huge warehouse, easy to get a bit lost. They do have helpful people sprinkled around the aisles, but sometimes it is hard to find someone to help. If you know what you're looking for, it's great. Outdoor furniture, paint, plants, kitchen sink, cupboards, stoves, electrical goods, parts for everything, garden stuff, lamps, outdoor lights, shelving....everything!”

“I was put up here for the night after Virgin Australia cancelled my flight home. The staff at reception were wonderful, immediately empathetic to my situation, and helped me feel taken care of. Carol in particular was lovely, she even called my room when my UberEats arrived, even though I was preparing to head down and wait for it outside myself. “Service with a smile. They always try to go the extra mile and find what you are looking for. They know their products. More than most other Kmart stores, they seem to get stock in quickly, so almost every time you go looking there, the product is there or coming soon. The only thing I would never buy is their perfume or beauty products, but that is just Kmart, generally not just Booragoon, of course. It's only been 23 years without kitchen benches. I was using a sideboard which did the job. Now I have retired, I bit the bullet and decided to put in a proper kitchen...I didn't want anything too expensive for my gorgeous little miners cottage, so decided to use Kmart cupboards (changed out the legs for height).”

“Visited this branch again last week in the morning and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the customer service. We’ve just moved to the area and i hope Big W would give this compliment to one of their staff, Snez (saw her name tag). On multiple occasions, She was very attentive and helpful and helped me look for a puzzle and toy (which required her to dig through lotsa boxes). Such service is really hard to come by and I’m so grateful. Also, I overheard an incident last week with a man (who was looking for hot wheels) and was told not to look through the boxes as they appeared not to be displayed - he spoke to Snez with such disgust and disrespect and I hope Big W learn to stand up for their staff. As such behaviour from customers should not be condoned.”
