U-Haul Moving & Storage at Rockdale Ave

"Person running this location had ZERO customer service skills. After waiting 6 minutes to be "verified" via the app check in process I asked if he could just do it. I was rudely told to "just be patient" and that it would "take some time but eventually go through" and that he couldn't check me in any other way. I asked if this was a new process, as every other uhaul place just takes my license, taps a few keys on the keyboard, and has me on my way. "Calm down, it will go through eventually." Finally it goes through and tells me to find the truck. I ask for the keys, "follow the directions" he snaps. I go to open door and he snaps, "you don't need to go outside, just follow the directions in the app." - that's what i was doing... The entire encounter was beyond frustrating and disrespectful. 9 minute process start to verification is unacceptable. I got there at 350pm for a 4pm appt and finally started truck to leave at 4:07pm after having to take 8 different pictures of truck - 17min to check in??? Will never rent from this location again, and in fact, may just go to penske next time."

"Online check in never works. We got there at 945, had done the check in process which didn't work because they didn't have the equipment, and still we didn't get our van until 1030 which was 30 minutes into our 4 hour reservation. They didn't have the dolly we requested so we had to move everything in 3.5hours by hand with no dolly. This has been my experience nearly every time I've used them. Go elsewhere."

"The verification process on the app isn't very good, I attempted to verify my identity for 3 hours before I finally got it to work. I spent 90 mins on hold in total after being hung up on 2 times by your phone system before finally speaking to someone to resolve the issue. I was meant to rent the truck at 8pm, however, I had to reschedule to 7am because of so many issues. When I went into the office at 7am I had to have the manager deal with my rental due to issues and received a rude comment regarding my finances by the manager who judged me and my situation without knowing that I was homeless. His comment made me very mad and upset. I was definitely not happy with the customer service at all and will probably opt to use a different company in the future."
