"This store has a lot of good things about it, and the owner is very nice. However there have been a number of employees that work there that I have found to be problematic. I'm a nitro guy, and I have had on numerous occasions had some of the employees try to talk me out of nitro, or just tell me I'm wasting my time. I witnessed a gentleman who really wanted a nitro truck that was for sale, and saw the employee talk him out of it. Hobby shops should be trying to grow all segments of the hobby and not try to kill off one just because they have some agenda."
"Hard to find hobby shops anymore and very glad one is here in Frederick. Although they don't take trains in anymore for repair due to the owner having a backlog and not repairing anymore, they still get some decent scenery items in for your train layout."
"This is my Fiance's favorite store. He likes to stop in for the Gundam model kits, and paints for his airbrush. I like to atmosphere, everyone who works here is very kind and personable. My nibling likes to look at the TY Plushies and fidget-toys. If you're looking for a new board game, they have great options. When I was a kid my dad took me here to get supplies for the Girl Scout Derby and it's always been a nice place."
"These folks have always been helpful and nice. These brick and mortar shops are few and far between, so I have to drive a distance to get there. But, it's worth it because it helps keep this store open!"
