“Stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. Lovely hotel, large room with a very comfy bed. Huge television. Couldn't beat the price either. Didn't use the pub/restaurant but it looked great and lively. Amazing location and easy to get to from the train station. Will definitely stay again.”

“Visited here after being recommended by a friend and I can see why! High class entertainment, high class girls/staff and just all round great night out. Was made to feel very welcome by the girls throughout the evening, especially Celeste and Emily (I think there names were) We went down for a dance and again nothing was too much for Celeste and the staff . Also the girl who greeted me on the door with blue hair seemed very professional and friendly too. Offered to explain how the club works as I’d not been before but i will definitely be returning soon!”

“Friendly and atmospheric micro pub, run by Phil and Wendy. Always feel welcome, it may be small, but that's not a bad thing. Still plenty of room, excellent choice of drinks, and a chatty place to meet up. Highly recommended.”

“Very friendly staff very helpfull. A good range of stock from drinks n tins n Frozen food to drawing pins fuses glue etc. You pay a bit more then the supermarket but worth it for the good service n to keep local shops going”

“This place is THE go to place for great food. Staff are superb and really pleasant. The kebabs are the best around without a doubt. The fish is battered and cooked just right. Overall it is a knock out take away. Highly recommend it.”

“With so many pubs going under, a very refreshing change to see a pub modernised & given a fantastic makeover, add to that an amazing cask & keg beer choice, as well as a well stocked bar ( A great offer when we visited at lunchtime was a £2.00 a pint cask beer) Great friendly staff ( avoided the photo) Well worth finding & give them some custom!”

“Great beer, spirit and wine shop run by 2 very helpful guys. I haven't sampled their wines yet, but the beer choice out back is brilliant. World craft beers from each corner of the globe as well as local ale choices. I'll be asking them for some advice on wine soon and I'm sure they'll give me some good tips. I probably go here a lot more than I should.”

“Greatly welcoming experience. The staff are passionate about the wine and want to share their knowledge in a casual and friendly manner irrespective of how much you want to spend. The wines are much better value for taste and expense than supermarket wines!”

Just watch out for the parking attendants - these guys could have taken jobs with Satan and not been out of place. Stick to the Majestic assigned bays and DO NOT go over the lines. Note parking attendants are nothing to do with Majestic and their staff are just as likely to be hit by the ticket-demons.”
