Jolly Hatters
“Lovely pub good atmosphere very friendly well kept lovely staff”
Harry's Bar
“Great place and great atmos! If you like your gin & tonic served in a carling half pint glass and music so loud you go deaf and special offer beers at just £2.50 if you go in at 9am this is the place for you!”
The Famous King George Oldham
“Nice clean modern watering hole. Friendly honest staff, I left my phone here and the staff kept it for me and returned it love f returned for it, could of been a really expensive round but no, they saved the day! Cheers! Lovely Heineken on tap too!”
The Apple & Pear

Boat & Horses
“Just got back from a one night stay and it was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely helpful. After a long drive up from Bristol it was perfect to pop next door and have a couple of beers. The breakfast was great, they catered for the vegetarians amongst us with no problems. We will definitely be staying here again Thank you”
George & Dragon Hotel
“First time coming with the parents and the curry was nice. Definitely just the right amount for me. Quick service and friend nice staff.”
Ye Golden Lion (Blackley)
“Had my baby shower here in July and it was fantastic! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they provided us with a buffet which was lovely and good value! The venue itself was great although there wasn't a function room for us to use, per se - they let us use the front half of the pub which led straight out into the beer garden/bowling green area for the party and used the other front area of the pub for the buffet, the amount of space was very ideal - the perfect size for a baby shower! I'd definitely recommend this venue, I'd probably use it again myself!!!”
The Great Central - JD Wetherspoon
“Somehow everything tastes better here, although it's a chain - but it's better. Clean, nice big windows, good location. Always full. Lovely but not enough staff.”
Ye Olde Cock Inn
“What a nice pleasant Pub. Met a friend here for dinner, and was greeted nicely with friendly staff. Phone network was not good there (not their fault) which meant we ordered at the bar instead of the App - Which is quicker, easier and friendlier anyhow. Food was good, great value for money, another reviewer stated overpriced, this was £12 for a plateful of well cooked and tasty chicken. Some people expect 5 star hotel food and pub prices. All in all, a typical Pub, yes there may be some beer stains on the carpet or a lick of paint is needed somewhere, you just need to remember it is a pub, not a restaurant. And therefore has a much better atmosphere.”
Fox Tavern
“Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is calm. It's nice on Sundays as there is a quiz where everyone is able to enter (free)”
The Society Rooms - JD Wetherspoon
“Long time since I visited last and my how it's grown. Continues the Weatherspoons tradition of good drinks, good eating, and great value. Had an excellent lunchtime meal with friends, and a subsequent 'lads night' of a few drinks and good company, which we thoroughly enjoyed.”
New Inn
“Great atmosphere with lovely staff. We have a good few drinks in this pub they were really nice and also cheap in price. We will be definitely be back there.”
The Blue Bell (Bury)
“Had a meal, it was busy but we didn't have to wait long at all. The food was absolutely beautiful, big portions, piping hot. We don't live in the area but we are already planning on coming for another meal. Brilliant.”
Royal Oak
“We had a super evening at the Royal Oak, Spooky Disco Halloween party :) Staff put so much effort into making sure the kids and adults had a great night with party games, dancing, crafts and food. Thank you for getting our Halloween celebrations off to a wonderful start.”
The Beau Geste
“Doesn't look much from the outside, but is well worth a visit. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. A really nice pub.”

The Wilfred Wood - JD Wetherspoon
“I was visiting the hazel grove area on a trip to manchester and stumbled across this amazing pub and Dani behind the bar greeted me with upmost politement. She suggested the bestest of ales that they had to offer and honestly it just quenched my thirst immediately. A perfect pint poured by perfect staff, and a beautiful pub also! Well worth a visit and if you are in the area!”
